I remember that very day. I watched it on my phone. Water roll out of my eye. I couldn't believe it. I thought it was just a movie play. Oh, that day. That was the day aluu became a curse entity. That was the day nobody born by a woman will ever marry from aluu. As I write now, its like de-javu. Its like it just happened again. Oh aluu, oh young souls, oh Port harcot, oh Nigeria. Who will bring justice for the dead.

Elkanah was buried in d forests or so cos a battered corpse is not buriied at home.

  56. How time flies! each time I see their pictures, I feel a lump in my throat and I have a teary eye.

Till now, nobody has been prosecuted for the death of these boys?

what a wicked government we have! yes! wicked and insensitive government. shame on you Jonathan and cabinet memebers. I say this without any iota of respect.

I bet if its any of your kids, by now the culprits or at least those seen on the video with those big sticks hitting them and sending them to their grave would have been apprehended by now and justice would have been served.

but No! you they are not your family members so "oh so sad" is just all you lot can mutter.

I feel biter, I feel pained, I wish I could do something to bring their killers to book but I am so helpless.

May the God lord vindicate them.

Sleep on my dear brothers. I do not know you guys personally but with the tears pouring down my cheeks right now and with the way I feel, I can only keep begging God to grant you all eternal rest.

To their family members, it is well.
so much love and hug and may God continue to comfort you in Jesus Name.

    Love,

    1. What a wicked country we like in, for a big to tink of burning anoda man is d height of madness nigeria is facing. If notin is done to d killers am afraid dat sometin worst wod happen in nigeria. Even if jonathan can't do anytin wat of patience his. Wife is she nt a woman even thou she doesn't understand wat child birth is bt she has adpoted children if this happen to them how wod she feel. I don't understand y d case should still b in court for me, I tink the culprits should nt b sentence to any prison they should b brought togeda and burnt in a slow way dat is d only way oda Nigerians can learn and their death should b air live on all stations thus making dat day a public holiday, after dis a law should b passed dat anyone or community who burns anoda for anyreason wod also b burnt alive. The boys death should b forgotten like dis.I wipe for Nigeria

  83. Thank you Linda for keeping this memory alive in our consciousness. We forget easily in this country when another raging news takes over. Our media are also part of the problem. They don't even give update reports. I weep for these four young men, the Skye banker who was killed by her wicked husband, the victims of the Dana plane crash and many others we've lost tragically and maybe forgotten. 112. Chiadikobi!!! It still hurts... RIP dear. You had a bright future, I will never forget the day you called " presido I don get admission for uniport to study theatre art" it was a dream come through, a path way to fulfilling your dreams and aspiration to be an actor. I was eagerly looking for to the day you'll grace my screen as an actor and I'll say that's my friend. Biringa! Biringa! I have a million and one things to say but...
This tragedy could have been prevented if only we had brave people present at the scene, who have lent their voices to the helpless young men. It is dishearting to know that women, men, boys and girls were present at the scene and kept chanting like they were watching WWE battle. Which way Nigerians ? We should learn from people like the two women who confronted those woolich killers, we should endeavour to be our brother's keepers. It could have been any of us. It's not time to apportion blames to anybody but to ensure that such ugly incident will know happen again at least not in our presence. The change we keeping asking for has to start with us "Nigerians" be your brothers keeper and we should never let anger get the best part of us . RIP#Aluu4
