New video: Seyi Shay - Irawo

Watch the video for fast-rising international pop-star and Flytime Music artist "Seyi Shay" for her hit single "Irawo", set on the beautiful Atlantic shores of Lagos. Directed by Clarance A. Peters, the inspiration for the video was based on the 1988 hit 'Rumba Dance' by old time favorite Mike Okri

but her video screams Beyonce especially that part where that guy was saying some stuffs in yoruba.
Go watch Beyonce's Dejavu video on youtube.
Anyway I'm not surprised, heard she was in a music group that was managed by Matthew Knowles.

    Linda please post my comment.

  22. For the love of God, what do you guys mean by copying Beyonce. Have you been to an "African" Dance class that these oyibos like to throw? Please this is standard African dance class/Capoeira moves. Did beyonce originate the moves or they already existed and she incorporated it into her own videos? Abeg make una shift.

Dayummmmm Sheyi Shay did it on them!!!!! Hot Video. Love the Song but the video truly made me heart it!

  25. This is my first comment on any blog this year. I just watched this video and in every ramifications, it wows. Those of you dropping comments about being a Beyonce wannabe are losers and don't know shit about art. I guess any video in which an african female dances the african way is now an attempt to copy Beyonce. If you don't know much about something, you don't have to comment.

  29. Mehn, she's a stepper! Kai,!!! Never seen a nigrian female artiste move like that! Tiwa tried for love me 3x but aftawards, shaki and pomo no gree her move body( jokes). She's a lot like rihanna and beyonce.

  30. FYI, she's not a beyonce wannabe. Cmon. Can't an artiste have models anymore. Shhs! She is beyonce inspired, she would find her right rhythm soon, just watch. FYi, beyonce sounds like a 60's vocalist, my pale said so,what's that name again. Will tell y'all when I remember
