American Idol to drop all 4 judges. Randy Jackson makes a statement

According to reports, none of the current American Idol judges are being asked back. AI ratings have dropped by almost 25% from last year. By far the lowest ratings the show has ever had.  
The Wrap reports:
“All four are gone,” the insider told TheWrap. “They feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.”
E! News reports:
“Yes, we want to do a whole new panel - but, just like last time around, it depends on who we get,” a Fox source confirmed to E! News in response to a report that all four judges will be leaving after this season because the now 12-year-old show is in need of a massive jolt of new energy.
The longest serving Idol judge Randy Jackson has released a statement confirming his exit from the show. Find it after the cut...



Randy has also made a statement confirming his departure:
Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on ‘American Idol’ I have decided it is time to leave after this season.”
I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.

    FINALLY!!!!!WOOOOHOOOO Like they read my mind, Randy should have left when simon and paula left this whole mariah and Nicki combo was a catastrophe i didn't watch it this season after the finale next week lets hope for a fresh start. Fingers crossed it would be fun again

    This season's AI judges are d worst set of judges a talent show could have. The blatant favouritism towards Angie was d height of it all. It was too much to bear and I'm certain that's d reason America didn't give Angie their votes and she now she's left d show. Nikki is terrible judge, so immature and her feud with Mariah was a distraction. AI is about d contestants not d judges but nikki and mariah don't get it. Well thank God we won't be seeing them next season. I pray Candice wins #teamcandice

    You should try watching So You Think You Can Dance, though it's a little late to join in this season. It's vastly better than American Idol, and the judges actually know what they're talking about.american idol
