Remembering Aluu4

I forgot to do this last month. It's so easy for us to forget and move on, especially when we are not directly affected, but please let's not forget these boys. They deserve justice. The way they died is no way for any human being to die; tortured, beaten to unconsciousness then set ablaze for doing absolutely nothing other than being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Their killers are yet to be prosecuted and jailed...so let's keep demanding justice for them. They were killed 5th October, 2012. Rest in peace Tekena, Ugonna, Chiadika and Lloyd.

    Thanks for this reminder. I,for one barely ever forget these young promising Nigerians who were brutally sent to their maker by fellow humans, Nigerians like themselves. I am always looking out for an update on their story and I'm happy you are too.
    Nothing can bring them back. Neither can we erase the horrid image the actions leading to their death has given Nigerians in the diaspora. I don't think that the terrorists who are bombing people up in Nigeria would so wickedly & violently take their time to kill & make sure their victims die. It hurts immensely remembering these young men & their families.

    No one deserves to die the way they did. No one! But I think it is also your responsibility as a blogger to speak out against all forms of jungle justice. They were part of the jungle justice system which they embraced as acceptable otherwise they won't have gone with a gun carrying cult member to threaten someone that owes them. There was absolutely no excuse for that. Taking the laws into your own hands. Unfortunately, they met the ultimate form of the justice they went to dish out.
    Their deaths should start a movement to educate people that all sorts of jungle justice should be eradicated

    I remember them everyday! It's very hard for me not to! Their death is the worst kind of death I've ever seen/imagined! May they continue to rest in perfect peace! Linda, I've said this before though I don't know how it can be possible.....but I believe we can do it if we put our hearts to it! We can build a monument for them at that 'garage' where they were murdered. Even conduct a remembrance service for them there too! This will help some of us begin to heal while we wait for death penalty on all the evil perpertrators! Yes, we can!!!! Think about it

    RIP Aluu4! Linda that's very thoughtful of you to ensure these boys continue to live in our hearts till justice is done. It's sad to know Justice is yet to be done though. I can't imagine how the loved ones of Aluu4 continue to feel, knowing their son/brother was killed like goat and roasted. Gruesome indeed. How can they sleep at night? How can? What happened to their conscience? All will be well by His grace.

    This story ALWAYS reduces me to tears no matter how many times i have heard it. It is a nightmare, especially for their loved ones and families.
    May the Lord continue to console the people that they left behind and may their souls find eternal rest in Jesus name.

    I hope this wont go the way of everything else in this our country. This can happen to anybody. we need to do something to ensure that justice is served. It was a cold blooded murder and their murderers should not be allowed to get away with this...

If they were your relatives, will justice not have prevailed??? who is sitting on this case? who is the judge in charge? why wont action be expedited to serve as deterrent to such dastardly actions against these boys??

    So sad how they ended up. Anytym, i remember the video clip i viewed, i am always moved 2 tears first for the tragic end of dese boys and for our failed state. May we never experience such an abrupt nd bitter end in our lifetime. Amen. Rest in peace

    (I wrote ds on d 6th and 7th of Jan 2013)I remembered ALUU 4,spent my whole evening and nite going back to the day it happened on linda ikejis blog and cried my eyes out.ds took me till today 7th of Jan (2003) when my Dad was committed to mother earth.Good and innocent people are always taken from dis cold world,most times when we least expect.let's appreciate people when we have them and enjoy them while they still have that LIFE. May God grant me(us) opportunities to keep showing you(people) how much I(we) apprecite you(dem) and when people make you feel unimportant,remember your WORTH is more than Gold.For todays comment, may God truly Comfort d loved oned ones of ds beautiful souls,d ALUU 4..God will avenge your death cos I know some of those killers are still roaming d streets of Nigeria.They will never prosper or know peace.We love you guys,rest in d lords bossom

    May the good Lord have mercy on these poor souls and grant them everlasting peace.I haven't cried like I did for those boys.it hurt so much I had nightmaters and I'm paranoid abt my lil bro hangin out wit his friends.the authorities shud get justice for them and make a lesson out of those demons to serve a lesson to would be followers

    This will be hard on the families of these boys. Its like a constant remainder of their loss. If u care enough a candle light procession on the day of the event yearly is better than a monthly remainder on your blog and worse part of it is that there's still no Justice at this point as regards the culprits.

    IT'S SO SAD TO KNOW THAT JUSTICE HASN'T BE DONE TO THOSE WHO CAUSED THEIR DEATH.

    Dear lord do persecute and torment the families of any of them blocking or restraining justice to be meted out on d killers of these wonderful souls till they all drop dead. I heard on d radio d other day dt the detainees were released and my heart cursed both d governor of dt state who has not said anything since then and his entire househol. I know someday d blood of these children will find them justice, chiadika, tekena, lloyd and ugonna do not rest until there is havoc in aluu land. That community shall not see or know life again. The God of thunder shall demolish them in d name of God we serve. Keep fighting my angels.
