See the man arrested for killing openly gay mayoral candidate, Marco McMillian

22 year old Larry Reed (right) has been arrested and charged for the murder of openly gay mayoral candidate, Marco McMillian (left). Marco's body was found near a Mississippi River Levee on Wednesday February 27th.

Reed was driving McMillian's vehicle when it crashed head-on into another car the same day the popular 34 year old Mississippi politician went missing. Police are investigating the murder but do not believe it was politically motivated. They are trying to find out the connection between Reed and McMillian and also establish if he was targeted because of his sexual orientation which is what most people think... (may have been robbery!)

    I don't think it's been proved that he 'killed' the dead man. Killing means it was a deliberate act. If people say it was because the dead man was gay, of course people shouldn't be killed for that.
