She could have been a top HR person in any of these banks or insurance companies, but when u hear of helps who were witches, rapists, had AIDS etc.. you can't help but thank God for her.
People of nowadays, discount what is really important for their careers, and when they are old they begin to ask God questions. Focus on what is important. Free those carnal things money can buy, that fab lifestyle and think of how you can care for your kids. Only you can take care of your child the best way possible, and if you are a real parent (like my lovely parents are) no matter how much your kids offend you or fight with you they will always love and respect you.
It is better to be a broke parent who has the genuine love and respect of their kids than to be seen as a provider. In the end provider, is equal to maga 1.. u will be emotionally dumped the same way women dump deir magas.

I refused to watch the video because i have been traumatised by a similar video in the past. But my response to this is;Firstly , the parents need to get her arrested immediately, because i am guessing this was recorded by a nanny cam and as such they must have installed it themselves. Secondly broadcast her pictures to everyone so that we dont hire if she gets off the hook(guessing its naija???),finally people trying to justify the brutality due to Parents possible wickedness is totally WRONG. We need a social revolution in this country, one that would refocus our minds to what is really important.
Back in the '90s my mom had to leave her rewarding banking job to take care of all four of us, whenever I remember what we went thru in the hands of house-helps and what many of her and my dad's colleagues went thru in the hands of helps, I thank her from my heart and pray for her. She could have been a top HR person in any of these banks or insurance companies, but when u hear of helps who were witches, rapists, had AIDS etc.. you can't help but thank God for her.
People of nowadays, discount what is really important for their careers, and when they are old they begin to ask God questions. Focus on what is important. Free those carnal things money can buy, that fab lifestyle and think of how you can care for your kids. Only you can take care of your child the best way possible, and if you are a real parent (like my lovely parents are) no matter how much your kids offend you or fight with you they will always love and respect you.
It is better to be a broke parent who has the genuine love and respect of their kids than to be seen as a provider. In the end provider, is equal to maga 1.. u will be emotionally dumped the same way women dump deir magas.
Your kids' love isn't automatic. When you are old and you need them the most, it is your relationship with them now that would determine the way they treat you in your old age.

But my response to this is;Firstly , the parents need to get her arrested immediately, because i am guessing this was recorded by a nanny cam and as such they must have installed it themselves. Secondly broadcast her pictures to everyone so that we dont hire if she gets off the hook(guessing its naija???),finally people trying to justify the brutality due to Parents possible wickedness is totally WRONG. ReplyDeleteI am lost for words, poor defenceless innocent baby, how can someone be so cruel. Since there is CCTV footage it probably means the parents of the child suspected something was wrong but had no evidence to back up their claims. I am sure the baby must have had a lot of bruises hence the setting up of the CCTV.

ReplyDeleteDamn....cringe cringe worthy!!!even the baby won't be at ease whenever he/she sees the nanny...hence the non stop crying maybe? I remember my nephew used to cry whenever we took him to one particular woman's house for her to baby sit him...before we get there like this,homeboy would be throwing tantrums and all...who knows what she did to him whenever we took him there?Parents,please please and please, don't do this to your children...they should be the most important people in your lives..and if you have to work by fire by force, atleast let them start talking before you leave them to strangers...geeez! Can't believe what I just watched.

ReplyDeleteMothers pls make sure you look out for your kids all the time. I only got a househelp/ nanny when my first child became a chatterbox and believe me I don't take her ramblings with levity...even nannies in daycares can't be trusted.especially here in Naija with ni background checks..
