THE EMERGENCE OF RETRO
 Music is the tune of the world. Imagine a sole sound that is acceptable and enjoyable in every part of the world by all. This is the actual definition of 'RETRO' . Many a time we come across people debating on the superiority of one genre over another. This is reasonable as various genres of music are made to suit different geographical, socio-economical and cultural generations. But in this fast globalising musical globe of ours, there is an urgent need for a common tempo, rhythm and style to keep the global community in tune and out of such debates. The production of 'RETRO' involves the creative process of scrutinising the most palatable musical genres like hip hop, r'n'b and pop amongst others to emerge with a globally accepted melody nourishing it with digitally synthesised African Kicks. The term RETRO was coined by Oki 'okizona' Omang and Bobga 'Dj Falez' Cliff who are currently working on RETRO songs amongst others set to be released under their newly signed label, Diamond Head Records.

A PROFILE OF THE ARTISTE Born 1993 on the ever sultry streets of Lagos , Okizona alias The Retro king is a performing artiste signed to Diamond Head Records. He emerges with a new and vibrant style/fusion genre of globally popular music called Retro. This is his debut single in that respect and it promises to be a 'Chart-topping' tune.Titled as implied 'JACKPOT' is a song that celebrates the teenager's unrelenting attitude towards winning the good things of life and establishes him as a music megaomanic.

    First... Loose the name. Then change your producer coz that beat is horrid. Research on lines coz u r using old and still tacky lines. Your record label really like you to even let you use their studio to produce something like this..... Goodluck to DHR management tho. They are good friends.
