Aluu4: Gone but not forgotten

It's so easy for us to forget and move on with our lives...but these young men shouldn't be forgotten. They died in the most horrific manner and deserve to get justice. Let's remember them today, exactly four months since they were brutally murdered in Aluu community, Rivers State (Friday 5th October 2012). And also ask the government what they are doing about their killers.

Rest in Peace Chiadika, Lloyd, Ugonna and Tekena.

  32. Linda I'm so proud of you.

I notice you have not forgotten these 4 guys that left this world in the most horrific manner ever. The 5th of every month you put up their pics, to remind us of them and the fact that up till now nothing has been done to the perpetrators of this terrible incident.

Abeg DEAR JUDICIARY, what is happening??? It is such a shame that the judiciary which is the last hope of mankind is also corrupt. Why are things so slow? Henry Okah's(though I disagree with the procedure in Okah's judgement) and Jame Ibori's cases were heard abroad and judgement was given in the speed of light. Whereas the reverse is the case in Nig. What is going on...

    Haf tire o.

Linda please continue the good work and don't stop until justice is done

    Have a great day

  53. Thanks Linda for constantly reminding us of a cause that seems to be gradually fading away… We are so quick to respond or join the bandwagon when issues like this comes up, but we hardly back them up with actions and see that such issues gets to its logical conclusion. No one seems to know what happened to those arrested or even the community that has becomes famous for these wickedness… Our Government needs to tell us what is happening in respect of this matter, and justice must be done! May their soul rest in peace!

  69. my aluu POEM: HITLER IS ALIVE!

    It was hell on earth
d day was dark as d sun
aluu community decided 2 act like god
and took d role of d devil
    Hell arrived on earth
    black angels in human clothing
    tied laws into their hands
having fun bursting & breakin heads
d sun wished she was blind here in Nigeria
d moon cried from her hideout in mercy
    Aluu god of jungle justice
plea was no where 2 b found
community chief threw away mercy 2 d dogs
    If men were God?
helpless victims stood b4 bloody wolves
    eyes wished 4 blindness
and heaven cried 'Sodom is more righteous than Aluu'
d world asked 'is dis modern Nigeria?'
and our security were miles away too close
in convoys protecting d big thieves
while d accused petty ones r roasted in our streets
It was hell on earth in modern Nigeria
And d world ask 'Is Aluu Hitler's home town?'
    then Hitler must be alive!

  80. How can they rest in peace? Justice has been denied them and their loved ones! It's been 4 months and NOTHING has been done, just a sham of an arrest and then silence! What good was it all? The posts, the world outrage? All to amount to nothing! The men drenched in their blood may be walking free for all we know!
It's a terrible thing, living in Nigeria.
