Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s predictions for 2013

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye yesterday January 1st released his annual prophesies for the year 2013.

Pastor Adeboye told his congregation at Redemption Camp that 2013 will be better than last year but explained that there could be more devastating natural disasters like flood if necessary precautionary measures are not taken soonest to avert such calamities.

According to Pastor Adeboye, before the middle of the year, many Nigerians will have reason to say hope rising, adding however, that prayers and supplication be intensified.

He told the crowd of worshippers that God spared the lives of certain individuals in the country last year because of intercessory prayers of the saints, noting “the prayers of some of you minimized death of prominent Nigerians last year, don’t stop praying.”

Speaking on the prophecies for individual Nigerians, Pastor Adeboye said, “No matter the darkness around you, your star will shine brighter.

“God says, He will speak peace to your storms; Certain individuals have been stagnated for sometimes, the reasons for your stagnation will become known, will be addressed and will be eliminated, therefore progress will follow.”

Continuing on the individual category, Pastor Adeboye said in many senses of the word, this year will be of completeness.

On the international platform, the cleric said prominent world leaders need a lot of prayers so as not to die in office. In addition, he said prominent Church leaders need prayers against planned scandals, even as he said that weather conditions may get worst, much worst, unless prayers are intensified.

But there is a cheery news when Adeboye said: “We should expect a major breakthrough in medicine this year,” concluding that nations who pass unholy laws will have a taste of divine fury.
Earlier in a brief sermon titled; “Preparing for a year of signs and wonders”, he outlined certain principles to enable one tap into heavenly reservoir of the miraculous.

According to him, this year will be a better year than the just ended one, maintaining that the principles must include praise and worship of God, putting God first before any other consideration; evangelism; control the fullness of your joy, pointing out that one who is close to God can control even the weather around him.

Adeboye was very particular about the praise of God as a veritable tool for signs and wonders, noting that one can pray, study the Bible in silence but no one can praise God in silence.
The congregation applauded when he said: “You can never praise God quietly”, stressing that praising Him comes from a heart of gratitude and it’s not quietly.

“If they say we are crazy for shouting Hallelujah in our environment and wherever we find ourselves, then that is a good kind of craziness,” he stated, adding that nobody says thank you to his benefactor with his mouth closed.

While assuring worshippers that 2013 is a year of doors, Adeboye said it is one thing to enter into a New Year and it is another to have a brand new beginning, hence he enjoined every Nigerian to live right with God who only has the capacity to give of His limitless bounties and guarantee all round peace and calm every storm in our lives.

  23. My own prediction is that some delusional Nigerians will capitalise on this alleged prophesy and try to claim that Adeboye is right whenever their is any unfortunate news in Nigeria.

Linda, pls there is nothing prophetic in these things he said. He only said what any body can say and be right by leaving open, some possibilities of this that may or may not happen to Nigeria. If they didn't happen, he will claim credit for them not happening. If they do happen, he will claim credit to have foretold it.

Come to think of it. Adeboye's claim to prayer did not save the thousands if Christian worshippers that died in the hand of Boko Haram, but he wants us to believe that it was our prayer that saved the few politicians that survived some incident . Crappy. I am a Christian and I believe in God lest someone will accuse me of being an atheist. But someone should please tell Adeboye to stop playing God, to stop being an opportunist, to stop exploiting the poverty in the land by telling people what they would like to hear and scamming them in the process . I am tired of all these "Adeboye said, TB Joshua said and other crappy things we hear from these pastors

    5. @Anoymous 3:07, you asked me not to judge anybody and even quoted a passage from the Bible. Beside the fact that you have judged me already by the words you used which amounts to condemning yourself with the biblical verse you quoted, I also think you expect me not to judge the Boko haram members, the corrupt politicians, the thiefs and some other groups of persons that I know you must have judged in one way or another . Are they not human beings or does the use of the verse you quoted only called up when Adeboye is mentioned .

I do not intend to engage you in an argument, but from the way you speak, it is either you are one of those brainwashed Nigerias that fear Adeboye even more than you fear God. If so, you only need our collective prayers. It is also possible that you are Adeboye himself or one of his inner circle, in which case I beg you to repent and stop scamming Nigerians. Full stop

  44. THIS IS THE PROPHECIES FROM T.B JOSHUA

Prophecies For Individuals In 2013 – Prophet T.B. Joshua

Let me give you six out of many.

The prophecies for nations, continents and for those at the helm of affairs shall be announced during the next Sunday Service.

    1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbour: Reward those who help you succeed now.

    2. Those in the foodstuff business will have a field day this year. Farming and agriculture will be the order of the day and will help greatly to be the source of solution this year. People engaged in it will be greatly blessed.

    3. Those anxious about God and who hate sin – the faithful - your prayers for many years are not lost. This year, there will be instant answers to your prayers, especially those who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb. The long-time barren will become mothers of many babies this New Year.

    4. Natural disasters will be many this New Year, such as motor accidents, sea sickness and air disasters. Let us move to God. With God, all things are possible.

    5. Stop praying against those who hurt you. This year, you will see clearly that God is God of vengeance. Instead, you should pray for them.

    6. Do charity work – feed the poor and the needy and give scholarships to those who deserve them. This year, there is great reward in doing this if you do it with all your heart. No matter how little, share it with others. Share their pain and share their joy.

    7. Our youth who think always of travelling should use the money to go into agriculture or foodstuff business because in the New Year, God will bless them. They will achieve greatness by transacting in agriculture and foodstuff and become successful in export and import business. The money I am talking about could be in the region of N100,000, N200,000, N250,000 ($1,000, $1,500, $2,000).
Those who have been working for many years and have never been satisfied with the job and salary they receive, the little limited resources at their disposal should be invested in foodstuff business or agriculture, especially those already married. They should divide themselves in such a way that either the husband or wife should step down from service where they receive salary and face agriculture.
Foodstuff business and agriculture or farming are anointed businesses this New Year, to revive the world from economic depression. This is the secret of God revealed to you today. Quote me; you will not regret doing it. My name is T.B. Joshua.

take his status aside is he even ur mate how lose can ur mouth be dat u just drop ADEBOYE like his ur playmate!
am far from surprised dat we have ur sort in dis generation the scripture already stated JESUS received worse wen he was on earth so am not stunned but dnt forget dey dat spoke against him received judgment u dnt temper with d apple of a kings eyes n go free......watch it be careful!

    Faith isn't emotions.

    Faith is an understanding.
Faith is having the right information.
Faith is acting out your understanding.
Faith is steping out well informed.
    Faith without action is dead.
Prophecy ll stir up your heart, that's where it ends.

  55. If only these so-called men of God can make clear, precise and specific prophecies. As a Christian, I have read the prophecies of ancient prophets in the old testament and seen how they were fulfilled to the letter. Also those of Jesus and subsequently, his apostles as recorded in the "New Testament". They were very clear - not vague and ambiguous like those of today. History has shown most of them fulfilled.
I dare point out that these pronouncements are exactly what they are: PREDICTIONS not PROPHECIES! So let them be.
It just fulfills another prophecy of Our Lord Jesus himself: "Not everyone saying Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom...some will perform miracles, prophesy, expel demons etc... Yet I will say get away from me you workers of iniquity" - Matthew 7:21-23.

If truly some of us are christians there are certain things we shouldn't utter from our mouths. Study your bible and understand what it says. When the holy spirit is your guard and guide, as a christian there are certain ministrations you'll receive that when heard somewhere else you need not doubt. Its not enough to call yourself a "christian". Words are weighty. I'm not a saint but I choose to think deep. God bless you Linda.

  78. Pple shld stop attaching their mind on these prophecies, rather use their God's given talents to work. Am ashamed wheneva I see our president with these self-styled prophets as if the success of his administration depends on their prophecies. These pastors shld tell us where they got their power from and rememba that on d last day Christ might say yes u worked miracles in my name but I don't know u. God cannot be chated!

  79. Charlatans abound in our country due to poverty. These prophets and pastors shld be humble enough to stop making themselves as if they are equal with Christ. Tell us where u got ur power from then we will think of believing u or not. Adeboye or Joshua or whateva they are called shld stop celebrating themselves; it's only Christ dat we can celebrate and his work glorify. It's not late to accept d truth.
