Nigerian monarch makes history as the first black person to buy the 2014 Bentley

The Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom in Ondo state and chairman of Obat Oil, Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, made history last week as the first black person to buy the 2014 model of Bentley. The Oba didn't just buy it, it was specially customized for him, according to sources close to him. The new ride, which arrived in Nigeria a few weeks back, has Olugbo as its plate number

Oba Akinruntan also has a custom built 2012 Rolls Royce similar to that of Queen Elizabeth II.

  6. How is this an achievement? He made HISTORY?! So when he lists all the life changing things he did in his lifetime, he'll include "I was the first black person to buy this Bentley"...

    LOL!

And then not up to 50 yrs down the line we'll look back and remember him for what? Please, he didn't make HISTORY, he bought himself a nice car. Black people do this ALL THE TIME!

Congrats to him on his new ride though. :)

How are you sure he hasn't given 100000 children free health care for 10yrs? How are you sure he doesn't give out.

  93. .... Only if Linda will post my comment!! Congrats Olugbo of Ugbo but I dare say d Ugbo community is DEAD! No jokes!! I'm yoruba serving in Ondo state.I unfortunately(yeah I meant dat) participated in d october governorship election and also Unfortunately I was posted to Ugbo5(under Ilaje LG).it's poverty personified in d midst of plenty.d ONLY good structure dere is his palace #no jokes. Common dis community is oil producing and rich. The people re wallowing in abject poverty and violence(dey almost killed a corp member dere dat day). So saying dat he made HISTORY is despicable, malicious and wicked of anyone. Smh 4 our leaders... If traditional leaders too take delight in looting 4rm d people, den I keep wondering wat d future holds!

  99. It is indisputable that Oba (Dr)Obateru Akinruntan is the new face of Monarchy in Nigeria. One of Nigeria's most established business moguls, one of Nigeria's most enduring billionaires and the doyen of Oil and Gas in Nigeria. I know him...a man of unquestionable integrity. Obat Oil was absolved of every fuel subsidy issue. Countless lives have been transformed by his industry and amazing philantrophy. This is not to talk of scholarships. Olugbo works hard...let him leave large. Kade pe lori.

  100. Christ u all whores get a life, and leave married men alone17 January 2013 at 12:40

You shameless whores, asking to be introduced to his married sons. Are u guys for real? Its obvious madness and poverty reigns supreme in your bloodline. If not I see no reason why any sane lady would ask to be a married man's mistress so you can get paid.
All you useless nicompoop running this hard working man and his family down will know no peace.
And to you foolish whore that mentioned you were at their new year party and you would gladly introduce the married sons to all, may your days be bleak as rainy day.
Eyi oloshi, were alasho. Leave married men alone and find yourself hard working men. Kabiyesi ooo, Ki adepe lori, ki bata pelese.
