'Kelvin Lakoju did not kill himself" close friends of Kelvin respond

Friends and family of Kelvin Lakoju, the 28-year-old Nigerian student in India who allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the second floor of his rented accommodation, don't believe the suicide story. Close friends of the photography student said Kevin had absolutely no reason to commit suicide and he wasn't suffering from depression as it's being alleged by the Indian police.

A friend living in India said "Kelvin was killed, we know it, the Indian police knows it, they have confirmed it". Although investigations are still going on, it is believed that the possibility of suicide has been ruled out.
Kelvin was said to have received death threats from his landlord and on several occasions he had reported to his parents. Unconfirmed reports say that new findings will be sent out soon.

In the main time it has been sadness, pain and tears for friends of Kelvin.

Another longtime friend of his Kofo who also schooled in India said
"He had lots of plans mapped out, he was going to tour the world, hungary to India and his next stop was either canada or U.S. He was so full of life, ideas, plans... which is why i don't believe that suicide rubbish. I pray whoever did this will suffer for it"

Another friend who pleaded anonymous said amidst tears "how come they were quick to conclude that it was a suicide case, just days before the incident he was very bubbly and the last set of people he spoke with said there were no signs of depression"

He was a great guy, humble, friendly and calm, he'll be greatly missed by his Family and Friends.

His friends are hereby appealing to the authority and the embassy in India to take up the case, his friends and neighbors should be questioned, everybody around should be called.

Kelvin couldn't have killed himself, he wouldn't do such a thing. Was the response of an old school friend of his.

  1. I said it! Anyone that read about his death would of course smell foul play, all I pray for now is that Authorities and the Nigerian Embassy should give Kelvin proper justice. R.I.P brother.

If care is not taken this case will be swept underground. Nigeria my beloveth country.

  33. I find this very strange tho.. I mean, what business could he have had with his Landlord that would make the Landlord wanna kill him? I live in Dubai and i dont even know who owns the building i live in. The building management handles everything concerning payment of rent and it is even done through the banks.. I dont even know the name of my next door neighbour... I dont know how it is in India, but what could a Nigerian young dude be dragging with an Indian Landlord? The only Indians i relate with are the grocery boys, barbers and perhaps restaurant guys. They cant even dare to try me, I'ld beat the crap outta those skinny looking towel heads, they all call me boss.

  39. why is it so hard to believe one of our own committed suicide?! Like it isn't possible for a Nigerian to take his own life. On another note, why did he stay where he clearly wasn't wanted? I don't know what happened and cannot say for a fact he was killed, or took his own life but measures should have been taken to prevent this. Hope he's in a better place. R.I.P. Wishing his family strength to bear their loss. And if indeed he was killed, may justice be served.

He had a lot of dreams and prospects; he would never consider committing suicide besides, it doesn't make any sense that some1 will die from a 2nd floor fall.

RIP my darling. God Knows best.

Afi (Kelvin) is one of my younger brother. We can never be depressed in any way. Who told you that he was depressed? Arrest those that gave you that information because he was a happy boy. Why must he be depressed? You don't know what you are talking about. We must get to the root of this matter. You can say what you like, please be very careful of what you are saying. I am deeply not comfortable with your investigations. Arrest all his friend for adequate questioning. I know that his blood will be upon the whole of India. Our God shall deal with you in Jesus Name. He who kills by the sword shall die by the sword.
