Lagos state government donates N4.5m to ailing actress,Ngozi Nwosu

Ngozi Nwosu receiving the cheque today
Lagos State government today gave actress Ngozi Nwosu N4.5million to help with the treatment she needs urgently. The actress has been battling with a kidney and heart-related ailment for a while now and needed N6million for treatment abroad. She raised N2million from well meaning Nigerians a few weeks back and needed N4million extra.

Ngozi can now have the treatment she needs thanks to Governor Babatunde Fashola. God bless everyone else who donated.

Ngozi was not like this 5years ago, she never planned for this but now look at life. God will surely bring her back to life.

    2. An igbo governor can never, ever do that to an "ofemanu man" they are terrible people. Tomorrow one of them will still insult yorubas. Call them cowards for being accomodating. Call them lazy because they value life more than money. Call them ugly and dirty because to an average igbo man being fair is synonymous wiv cleanliness and beauty. Call them betrayers because they think deeply before any act, they are diplomatic and Weigh the profits and loss before embarking on any venture. We are not perfect but is it not something to know that people from the whole country somehow makes it in yoruba soil? Even to my mothers villlage in ekiti. For the past 3 years, the free education in the south west, the igbos are the most beneficiaries yet they have not stopped it.u people are filled wiv hate venom. The fact that u don't feel ashamed to hate a tribe that accomodates ur vices. The hausas kill u and u blame yorubas. Go to naira land etc and see how they always insult yorubas. But shield their lips from insulting hausas. Its ashame that the igbos in nollywood couldnot do anything not to talk of igbo governors. Tomorrow if fashola wants to run for president, the igbos will be first to say ofemanu man! Lie lie. Continue o! God is watching! Linda please post my comment.

The yorubas are the most accomodating set of people. Yet some people just hate them. I don't understand why u hate your host community. Even if today yorubas start migrating to the east. I can bet it no igbo man will ever help a yoruba man that is in need or in a condition like this. It is what it is! 2015 we shall know where we all stand.

  75. You know Linda, its a shame that Nollywood would allow one of their own become a charity case. I wish Ngozi a speedy recovery, but everytime i see broadcasts asking people to donate i am kinda disgusted. 6million?like really this is lunch money for the likes of Genevieve, stephanie omotola, ini edo, funke akindele, tontoh(i am deliberately mentioning women for a reason) and the other so called celebrities you "CELEBRATE" here on your blog. For allowing this woman's case even get to the public i am angry, Hollywood would never do this. This just added to my already deep disgust for planet Nollywood.

Fashola and the state of Lagos for your generosity, there is no law binding you to give but you did, for that you will be mark for God's favour. Ngozi Nwosu, my prayers and thoughts are with you. Please place your trust in God, for with him nothing is impossible. You will be well.
