  9. I am yet to see the conditions they have given for the cease fire. However, am wondering what happens to all the churches, government buildings, people they have killed and maimed. Am wondering what is/was the drive to go that far in the first place. Cease fire or not, they are all MURDERERS and the blood of all the people they have killed cry out for vengeance and justice. They will live with all the atrocities they have committed, except they truly repent.

I say, wipe the bloody bastards off the face of the earth. JTF should take them out back, & have bullets put through their brains, then 'promptly' declare a ceasefire after killing them.

If truly we're desirous of positive change in this country,PLEASE PLEASE and PLEASE my fellow brothers and sisters of NIGERIA;let us elect this man (RTD)Gen. Buhari to lead us in 2015 if only for 4years.He's getting on in age but full of wisdom and courage. He has zero tolerance for corruption and will put the country's interest first because he has no godfather.Obj and Ibb as usual'll deploy billions of stolen funds to try to discredit him via propaganda because he is the only one they fear.A word is enough for the wise.

    1) The Boko Haram crew have achieved their goal of fear and intimidation and making Jonathan look weak and now the final conclusion is to appoint Buhari who is a muslim.
    2) Buhari "MIGHT" be their sponsor and the heat is going up.
    3) They mistakenly said Buhari's name and will receive a phone call from him tmro morning.

This is a clear picture of a wriggling viper that has lost its head to an angry hunter. They know they are losing strength and so clasp the pillar of negotiation for anchor but what do you expect when God's ear drums are continuously bombarded with the wailings of orphans, widows, widowers and the spirits of the dead.
Their's dark cloud surrounding their appointment of Buhari but I suggest the Government should blanket that now and capitulate to their call for negotiation but ensure that he (Goodluck) handles their demands with complete intelligence.

By cease fire, they are only seeking to confirm that story.

Another thing might be that with the series of arrest of high profile operatives, the govt was on to some vital links and contacts of politically exposed persons and there was therfore need to create another angle to blunt the evidence against them.

All in all, by cease fire, they are saying that they will stop throwing bombs in and around churches, which is good for everyone.

  81. Members of Jama’atul Ahlis Sunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad also known as Boko Haram have said they are now willing to seize fire and stop all atrocities being perpetrated by their group and work against other existing groups if the State and Federal Government will truly heed to their demands.
The acclaimed spokesman of the group, Abu Mohammed Ibn Abdulazeez, who doubles as the second-in-command (Amir) to their leader Imam Abubakar Shekau revealed this in a tele-conference with journalists in Maiduguri on Thursday stating that if the state and the federal government want the group to seize fire completely, then former Borno state governo,r Ali Modu Sheriff must be arrestedand prosecuted according to the law of the land.
He also said that apart from the arrest of Senator Ali Sheriff, government should compensate the group and rebuild their places of worship which were destroyed during 2009 uprising.
Abu Abdulazeez further stressed that, all their members who were arrested and are under the custody of security agencies must be released with immediate effect, and all their wives who were displaced following the crises as well as their childrenmust be rehabilitated into the society to create room for a fruitful dialogue with the Federal Government.
He pointed out that for a dialogue to take place, it must be through the following elders namely: Dr. Shettima Ali Monguno, Former Head of State General MuhammaduBuhari, former Yobe State Governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim, Ambassador Gaji Galtimari and Barr Aisha Alkali Wakil and her husband, Barr, Alkali Wakil, insisting that the dialogue must not take place in Nigeriabut Saudi Arabia, as according to him, the government of Nigeria is not sincere for dialogue due to its betrayal in the past.
Abu Abdulazeez also said that the group has mandated five members who are to mediate on their behalf; they include himself (Abu Mohammed Abdulazeez), AbuAbbas, Sheikh Ibrahim Yusuf, Sheikh Sani Kontogora and Mamman Nur
While speaking on the series of killings andunwantom destruction of property that took over Maiduguri recently, Abu Abdulazeez disassociated the group from such act, pointing out that such attacks were politically motivated by those seekingfor power in the Borno Emirate council, government or otherwise, but not in line with the ideology of the sect who are fighting for the cause of Allah.
He also said that, the burning of old and newly constructed primary schools witnessed across the state were not masterminded by the sect, insisting that the burning of such places were carried outby aggrieved politicians who were denied contracts from the state government.

  86. I just knew it!!! Himself & Atiku are masterminds of that sect. I wonder how we forget so easily the statement Atiku made right after GEJ won the presidential election in 2011, He clearly stated that "I will make Nigeria ungovernable for him".... How cud we forget so soon!

  91. First everyone is condeming General Buhari but come to think of it the others that their name was mentioned were they also sponsors of the Sect. Shetima Ali Mongunu is an Old man he is even blind can't walk and his name was mentioned as one of the negociators but pls and pls don't judge anyman Buhari is clean and doesn't know anything about this and I believe people should think before judging anyone. Thanks

  94. Alas! The Grandly Crazy Outcasts & Nitwits (GCON) of Northern Nigeria and their blood-thirsty hounds have reached the bottom of their hit-list only to realize that they’re still light years from achieving their evil plot…..or maybe someone has told them that elections might not hold there in 2015 if they continue their maniacal bombing spree……..A gang of retards who believe the nation owes them!! Reminds me of their partners-in-crime from the Niger Delta who, under the guise of agitating for resource control and environmental rehabilitation, committed equally heinous crimes!!! Oya, oga GEJ give them their own share of the national cake…..What a shame! A society that rewards/promotes militancy, criminality, nepotism, ethnicity, tribalism, federal character, bigotry and other vices but consigns merit to the back-burner!! God will help us.....

  95. Thank God we didn't vote Buhari as president. I wonder how much havoc he would have caused this country. If he is leading this team, it shows He had them on ground to work for Him if He won and shows he never had the good interest of this country at heart in the first place, He probably would have sent these people to all the nooks & crannies of this country to enslave us all and I'm deeply amazed someone on this blog could be suggesting Him as president for 2015...

  100. This simply means that Buhari is one of those people behind Boko Haram's bombings and killings. No problem. Let government hear them out and negotiate with them.

It is now clear that Buhari is one of the greatest enemies of progress and success in Nigeria and he should be written off in Nigeria politics.

If I may ask, why did Boko Haram not choose Obasanjo instead of Buhari or Charlse Soludo instead of Buhari?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Errr i think they chose Buhari because of his credibility, something Obasanjo lacks tremendously and Charles Soludo's a non-entity in the scheme of things.
