Actress Nkiru Sylvanus loses her appointment as special assistant to Imo State Gov

I heard from very reliable sources that actress Nkiru Sylvanus has lost her appointment as the special assistant to governor Rochas Okorocha on Lagos Matters. Yes, there's a position like that! :-)

The Abia state born actress had been battling several people since her appointment last year, who felt  she didn't deserve the position as a non-Imo state indigene and also because they felt the appointment was meaningless and unnecessary as they didn't understand her job specification.

They also felt she got the appointment because of her 'friendship' with the governor and not because she knew anything about running a public office. These people worked tirelessly to get her out of government house, and if what I'm hearing is correct, they've succeeded.

    1. Na real bad belle... See d pple wey wan go form biafra, they are not even in synch with demselves. Smh.... Dem no fit give fellow igbo job if no be from their state, na anoda tribe dem wan come give? After dem go say people be tribalist, but igbo man na commissioner for lagos, and Secretary for ondo state, dat na d ones wey I know of o. Awkward people.

    2. Na so den dey make igwe ndigbo in every community! Almost making their igwe stronger than d owners of the community. And when d indigenes start fighting back, u say marginalisation! Put your house in order

    3. U guys shd reason well before posting scurrilous comments. U shd knw dat dat office is of no benefit to d tax payers. FYI, dia ar a no. of oda offices occupied by non-indigenes in dat region.

'Awkward' must b d reason u fall in luv & die to marry d Ibos!
And if u tink d Ibos ar of no benefit in ur domain/cabinet 'remove' dem. Don't com hia shouting & b insinuating dat u'r nt tribalistic.

'Indigenes fighting bck anoda tribe dat is doing well in dia domain'. Sardonic reasoning frm sadist, just to satiate a sanguinary mind!

  4. NONSENSE !!!!!!!!!! IT SERVES HER GOOD AFTER ALL SHE IS NOT FROM IMO STATE. WHY THE APPOINTMENT?OR IS IT BECAUSE SHE THINKS SHE IS FAMOUS, LET HER GO TO ABIA STATE AND SEEK FOR APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEIR SO-CALLED GOVERNOR ONCE DIS-ENGAGED THE NON-ABIA INDEGENE WORKING IN THEIR STATE.

  10. At first, Rochas gained popularity by taking ohakim to the cleaners on the manner of waht he called"frivolous" appointments dat made him run an over bloated cabinet. Upon assumption he appointed Nkeiru Sylvannus as S.A on Lagos matters(whateva dat meant). Who is Fooling Who in this country. Appointment witout portfolio and funded by tax payer's moni. SMH

It's only in Nigeria that offices are created not necessarily to meet the needs of the people but to satisfy personal needs of some individuals.

    1. See what they are doing to themselves in apga? I just hate it when they say other ehnic groups are tribalistic meanwhile they are most tribalistic set of people in naija. If anything, the most accomodating people in Nigeria are people from the south-west. The north used to be accomodating but the interpretation of their religion has killed their economy! I keep saying it, before u talk of marginalisation, put your house in order. See as massob and bzm dey fight!!!!!!! The day the igbos stand as one, that marks d end of Nigeria as a country! Of which I don't see it happening. What is wrong if she is appointed a minister. Igbo is igbo! Yoruba is yoruba. So many non lagos indigenes hold positions in lagos and so it is in a lot of south-west states! Mtsheeeeee! Just put your house in order then people will respect u!
