Quote of the day: From Senator David Mark

"With the help of social media, the faces of the killers of the boys were identified." - Sen David Mark said during the Senate plenary session on Aluu 4

Good to know he now approves of social media..:-). If you don't understand what I am talking about, then go HERE

Meanwhile, the senators condemned the act and said everyone in the Aluu 4 video should be arrested and prosecuted.

Some ppl are so block-headed and eager to insult in the name of commenting on a blog that they forget that serious issues are being discussed.

  6. Not all the killers were notified! Let him not think that because a few were captured this case should end. NO!!
One of the boys have been buried. He was buried in a forest, because it is against custom in his village to bury a severely battered and bruised body in town!! I know he is not resting in peace. His soul is not at peace! More must be done. Until justice is served!!!!

  7. Hmmm. Senator David Mark. Its sad that justice isnt served rightly in Nigeria. soon this would be swept under the carpet too. No one has heard about Kolade who killed his wife sometime last year. things just happen and after a while they die down. really sad.

  14. If ghosts do exist, there should be 4 ghosts avenging these murders until the 4th generation in Aluu community. I still cant bring myself to see all the pictures much less the video. I keep thinking this could easily have been my brother, my son , a friend.I say you boys you hang around and remind these animals that they have cursed themselves.
Government make examples out of these animals so that the next time somebody screams Ole, thief, etc you catch that person ,collect the stolen items and drag that person to the nearest police station before they turn themselves into ruthless murderers.
Nobody could have called the police the whole damn time ? hours of torture ? nobody ? really ?

If only revolution could flow from this pipe ooo,Nigeria is far stain.the country needs cleansing.Governance have crumbled and the citizenry are frustrated at its leadership. We want change, doesnt matter how we got it,violent or not.Nothing works even the Judiciary is eaten up with corruption.there is lawlessness in the land.life is not secure and everyone is in dismay and in fear of danger. The situation in this country is highly disheartening!

  27. He didn't approve of social media because some people (like you in some cases) use it to insult the integrity of people and rub their names in the mud but when comments are posted about people like you on another forum or blog that sounds negative, you don't put it on your blog.

  28. These our lawmakers are all brainless. I dont make out a thing from their comments.

  29. Please bear with De David and his grammatical challenges. He is a graduate of NDA and probably had a lowered standard b/c of his place of origin. But on a serious note, it is shameful that the president of Nigerian senate can not express himself in public. Alu emee na Obodo Alu.

  32. With the help of Almighty God and social media, the faces of the rogues and vagabonds in power in Nigeria and the thieves that are ponzing and robbing Nigeria will be exposed, prosecuted, persecuted and jailed. Innocent students lost their lives for crimes they did not commit, but thieves are still roaming about in Abuja and masquerading as politicians and leaders. Where's is justice? Where is fairness? VERY, VERY SOON, there will be a SERIOUS revolution in Nigeria. Nigeria SHALL be liberated from corruption and it's corrupt leaders.
