Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, and 3 other Africans have been nominated for the 2012 Forbes Africa Person of the Year award. The other three nominees are: Joyce Banda,
President of Malawi. Dr. James Mwangi, Chief Executive
Officer/Managing Director, Equity Bank Limited, Kenya, and Stephen Saad, Co-founder, Aspen Pharmacare.
Forbes Africa said the Person of the Year award would go
to the person who has had the most influence on events in 2012.
