I mentioned N140 million because that was what the property was on the market for but I can't say for sure if that's what Davido paid for it. He has not made enough money in whatever he does to buy a house of 140m. Either his father bought it for him or he had a big hand in buying it. My reason: was it not Davido that was so carried away because of the 10m he got in a deal, that he had to take a picture of the cheque and posted it for all to see? And this was not quite long ago. U don't see people are are used to that kind of cheque making so much noise about it. That incident alone led me to the conclusion that, if the house actually belongs to him, and it cost as much as the above figure, he did not buy it with purely his money or he must have had a helping hand.
