Not heard any...& I don't care to. But I've always known P-Square as copy cats right from their 1st album where they used some known foreign & Usher's tunes...
P Square has never been original so it doesn't surprise me that they copied him. They've been coping Usher since day one so.....they just use their good looks and dance moves to charm people
If you have nothing reasonable to comment, please get a life. I didn't know my presence on this blog annoyed you so much. Just hit a blunt and chill the fuck out. I'm sure you're the only one with that name or did your parents not name you after someone else?? Anonymous fool.
Lol.. haven't heard both songs though, but i thought psquare got famous for copying other people's song in d first place?? so what's d fuss about?? is it because he's copying his fellow countrymen this time around?? lol
Who is dis mumu, who told u dat timaya is accusing anybody, its just pples opinion, plus I don't understand y ull think 4 a sec dat d both songs sound lyk dynamite. WTF.. Cheap drugs in action in ur case
Sure, the beats are the same...just replace singing "bum bum" with "Alingo" and the songs are one of the same. But what's new?...all nigerian music are the same with the same beats!!!!
Me no gbadun the dem right from time, copy copy too much wit them. Investigate all their songs, there is hardly one that is not photocopied. I wonder how dey go about copyright sha....smh
Both sounds are not alike. Even if they were? Why do people always think it was copied? Cant people have similar ideas. Timaya is retweeting cos he agrees with the tweets. He is just trouble...
Please you guys shouldn't say psquare copied timaya! The songs are two different things and the beat has similarities but are totally different. When did timaya start and when did psquare start so why should people even say they copied timaya?
Pls STfU wen u begin 2de listen 2music..u deaf can't u hear or rather listen 2d beats....u beta goan clean ur ear ewu....psquare tiff everytin*gbam*case close*
Every thing in Niaja is almost a copycat: Gospel songs Artists copy themselves almost 20 times over; Nollywood copy Indian movies and re-stage them; Nigerian producers can't come up with original names to call programs, e.g, Nigeria got Talent, copied the name from America Got Talent; Nigeria Top Model, got its name from America Top Model; even the word: Nollywood is a copy of Hollywood and Bollywood. Even our JonaBaby wants to dey fly with 3 aircraft bcos him hearsay someone else dey do-wam for Oyibo land. So no bi big deal.
Linda, did you see the picture of a son of a politician in Bauchi State that uses N100 Million as sleeping bed? The picture break my heart o.
Psquare truly copies. Just that they are good though. Whatever u do, be gud at it. Some people copy wrongly, but dey copy well. D copying has paid off anyway
As for d clown temitope @9:12 who says d chorus of 'beautiful onyiye' is similar to savage garden's 'truely madly deeply', fear God o. And listen to both songs again. No be by force to comment nah. Haba!
There is no copy here, totally different progression of chords, the only thing is it's danceable...so whatz the noise about Psquare copying and why is Timaya retweeting....Is no copy at all abeg....Haterz

Its sooo not the same. So wah they are tryna say is everyone that sings 'house music' copied each other.... When Tiwa savage came out with 'without my heart', didn't it remind u of 'love is wicked'... Buh the song was a hit... Cus innovation is the mother of creativity ...... And if u don't like it.. Go and sing ur own n not copy anybody.
ll..smh was the deal all artist does that..whitney sang dolly parton song, michael jackson did smokey robinson, marih carey does it,chris brown just did swv song and its a hit in usa right now.get a life.
The difference is they give credit where its die and 9/10 sing it with the artist's permission or at least producers that produced the particular song.
Linda, the controversy is bull..! The psquare boys must have serious haters around. There are no way in hell an objective person will listen to both songs and conclude that one copied the other. Both songs are different. Psquare's song is even better than Timayas.
I don't care about the musicians. I never heard both songs, until I visited your blog and read the comments. Then, I decided to listen to the songs. I heard Psquares' song first and then went to youtube and listened to Timayas. I came to the conclusion that there was no way Psquare copied Timaya. Both songs are different in both rhythm and lyrics.
If by chance, the rhythm used by a musician in a song appears briefly in another person's song, does not in any way shape or form mean that the person copied the musician. If that is the case, all these rappers, R&B singers, country music stars would be suing each other left, right and center. It means that no musician will ever claim originality, because whatever rhythm a musician uses, someone somewhere must have used it.
Going by the comments of some fellows here, one could as well conclude that chuddy in gaga crazy and Timaya must must have copied each other, because the rhythm in Timayas also appeared in Chuddys. But I don't think that was the case.
I guess Timaya himself is not too sure about that, that's why he is just re-tweeting and not making a categorical tweet on that. People should stop formenting trouble unnecessarily.
Princess of Zion, God doesnt congratulate cheats! When soemthing is bad - speak up! That is what a Christian does. Remember what happened to ELI and his sons ooo.

Is there any law against that? Or how does this deplete the groove already planted by P-Square? This shouldn't be an issue to note.
ReplyDeleteYou novice. Have you never heard of copyright law? Of course it's an offence to copy someone else's work. Pple get sued for that.
