    3. Thunder fire u dia!!! Don't u realise old age is a privilege??? U had d gumption to write"we youths should arise& take what is now rightfully ours;Nigeria" Anuofia! What will become of a nation without elders to give their words of wisdom n to set d youths aright wen they stray? Obviously children will grow up like they were trained by a pack of wolves with an oversized pant such as urself being d schizophrenic youth leader!

    6. All our elders hv nuffing to offer the youths of nigeria. No future for the present nigerian youth but all the same with an exception of some elders though. All dis exceptions are very very very few to make impact.

  19. He is still very good looking. In fact, when I saw him in NYC few years ago, our eyes met and I knew he liked what he say in me and I liked his good looks. I am a 38DDD.I am a christian so I let the lust die down and I avoided him after that first exchange of lustful looks.

I take offense to this as a paid creative person. The works of those before us create an inspirational springboard as well as an aspiration to leave works that are greater and just as enduring for generations to come. How dare you disregard and comment on their physical aging when their intellectual capacity is ageless. What have you written that has been read by an audience in your little hometown.... lets even go smaller by your friends and family that stands to the recognition of Wole Soyinka's world famous works...? Nothing.
Come back and talk when you can turn your drivel into something I can read and proudly place on my bookshelf.

  29. @ linda sorry to say so u cannot differentiate class from swag, nd to all those who myt comment blindly,(boys have swag, men have class) wloe has always exuded class, evn @ an early stage, give honour to whom it is due, itz just lyk sayn d Queen of England has swag, wen she exudes class, nd charisma.

    1. There u go again advertising ur ignorance! Pls go check ur dictionary(hoping u have one) 4 d meaning of swag. It can mean a swaying or lurching movement.when used as a slang it has no age limit, same with class! Olodo English teacher!
A 19yr old boy can have class just like a 60yr old man can have swag. Now d Queen of England being all prim n proper even @ d age of 20 can not be said to have swag. Swag is all about stylish carriage n poise.

  30. I agree with you Yemi.Anon 4:16 is a fool for wishing the death of a legend. The man knew his vocab and followed his words with actions. At the rate everyone is doing "expo" in the higher institutions,I do not know what will happen to our youths' brains. Anon 4:16, be careful what you wish for.One day, you'll grow old too.You won't be a youth forever. And yes...I'm in my twenties.

  32. @Anonymous 4:16, you are indeed a big fool for making such an ignorant and stupid statement. Wole Soyinka is not some corrupt leader, but he is an advocate for justice, a man that has proved over the years that 'a pen is mightier than the sword' Just pray to make one third of the impact he's made on your generation as he has done, arrant nonsense!

  38. TO WRITER ATTITUDE@7.56
You are a big hypocrite. A lust happens everytime we see people we like so it is natural. We need to control our lust which some psychoanalysists actually call "fondness" and not lust. You can not claim never to have met someone you met and felt like making love to straigh away. You are a big time hypocrite.

Prof. Wole Soyinka loves beautiful women. He loves pretty young ladies for your information. You are an "egbe" "razz" "ara-oko jati jati" You lack sense of humor.

  45. Well it's quite ludicrous what people say from all the compass of their mouth. Soyinka never started the cult we see today. He started PYRATES not PIRATES- the one our stupid generation dubbed the dais to killings and raping and all sort of horrendous acts. it was one to fight for justice. there are frats even in America.-Approved by the Government and schools....but ours is evil. and it seems that's all we can think of.
