Makashe Ibru & Kayode Awogboro: The Nmulti million Paris wedding

Makashe Ibru is the first daughter of chief Oskar Ibru, the first son of the head of the Ibru family, Olorungun Michael Ibru. He's also the group executive director of the Ibru Organization. On Saturday August 18th, Makashe married the love of her life, Kayode Awogboro...and Oskar Ibru gave his daughter the wedding of her dreams.

He flew more than 250 family and friends to Paris to attend the wedding which held at one of the most fashionable churches in Paris, the Neo-Gothic Basilique Ste-Clotilde. Reception held at one of the grandest event centres in Paris, Pavillion d'Armenonville.

Some guests stayed at 5-star hotels, while others stayed in 3-star hotels in Paris. Oskar Ibru not only flew family and friends to Paris, he also flew domestic staff - drivers, cooks etc to Paris. The businessman spent a lot of money to give his daughter a wedding she and others will never forget! :-)

  20. Fine couple, but is it just me they don't seem to be having fun at their wedding or have connection with each other. I hope it lasts.

Marriage is beyond beauty and money, when reality hits you have to have some character and deep love to stand through it all.

  30. like seriously linda "most fashionable churches in Paris, the Neo-Gothic Basilique Ste-Clotilde" .... what are u on about? nothing fashionable about a gothic cathedral, try spooky.... i remember coming off the metro, facing this cathedral and being too scared to go into it. smh! cheesiness at its highest.

  41. Congrts to the couple. In a country where we have the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. People ask for donations every time and yet we don't hear that a rich man has donated all. Why? instead we prefer to spend billions on weddings and co. And then after months the marriage gets dissolved. 90% of high class weddings do not last 2 years. Why spend billions when we have millions suffering who cannot afford just a meal, who do not have anywhere to sleep. God hel us all.

  49. If we are going to be honest stephanie Okerekes wedding to Linus Idahosa SHIT on this wedding. Money cannot buy class and it is clear Makashe has no class. From the front sweep on her forehead, purple tacky flowers, ugly themed colors... why couldn't she learn from the likes of funke fowler who had a destination wedding in dubai but it was 10x better. Makashe go buy some class. Please.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Makashe Ibru has no class. That wedding dress looks like it was pulled out of a closet. Class isn't covering up like that... SMH. Fail fail fail

Kay himself is an Oil & Gas Insurance guru with connections all over the world. Being silent does not mean being poor and dependent on the Ibrus like some commenters implied. HML M&K....May u disappoint your detractors IJN
