Gov Fashola signs new Lagos road traffic bill into law

The Lagos State Governor signed the new Lagos Traffic Bill into law yesterday August 2nd. And if you have forgotten what the traffic laws in the State are, then please read it HERE before you end up spending three years in jail for driving one-way! :-)

    nice one fashola. Easily d best Gov in Nig n future president of Nig( i dont know when sha). The annoying thing is that d ones saddled wt d responsibility of enforcing d laws re d ones breaking them. God help us.

  2. NYC-1 says: Gov Fashola is a blessing to Lagos State, just like Gov Rochas is to Imo State. He is a functional Governor and means well for Lagos State. Who will complain if we have leaders like Fashola? He has his shortcomings, but that pales in comparism to his good works.

  7. Abeg fashola should get lost..are lagosians animals???where on earth do they have such stupid traffic laws???3yrs imprisonment for what?? did u commit murder???rubbish law...there should be a higher body to review this...anyway we gat no choice

  8. is it that there is enough space in prison to take everyone they want to arrest? besides it's the nigerian policemen that breaks most of these rules.

  9. The laws are very reasonable and for a lot of Nigerians, they won't be able to afford the fines. So, I pray it leads to more responsible driving.
