Then there's the blouses. I guess I'm old fashioned, but again I - how can I put this - if you are going to the effort of tying double wrapper, at least wear a mature looking blouse with it. ReplyDeleteI know I'll get manged for this but hey... The LIB girl's Gele screams 'market woman' to me. Too many pins, too much effort- bow n all. Then the two color thingy - never did catch on with me. I can't tie gele to save my life o, but there is something about an effortlessly tied gele that gets me. Dakore's is closer to it.
Then there's the blouses. I guess I'm old fashioned, but again I - how can I put this - if you are going to the effort of tying double wrapper, at least wear a mature looking blouse with it. All these strappy, strapless, monostrap blouses look a bit tacky and childish to me. The girl in the pic can even be forgiven, she looks a bit young so let's say she's dressing her age. I have seen some grown women in such, and I just smh
Overall I like the color combo (which is the only thing both gals have in common here) actually wore the same combo to a wedding 3yrs ago. Might just dig it out for the next christening I go to....mmmh
