On the 22nd July 2012 at the Ikeja City Mall, Alausa, Lagos, Nigeria saw the launch of the first black|Up stand-alone shop outside Paris.

The Launch event took place at the new black|Up store and gathered together special guests and celebrities. This unique event featured live makeup demonstrations by a team of make-up artists headed by international Celebrity Makeup Artist and Creative Ambassador of black|Up, David Coranson.

Highlights of the day included special beauty presentations by professional models as well as guests being treated to beauty makeovers and an overflow of champagne and finger foods.

Montaigne Place are exclusive partners of the black|Up brand which was launched into the Nigerian market a few years ago.

  14. I see trouble coming to Nigeria with all these products coming into the marketplace. These men who have to come up with money to give to all these ladies who will be buying all the products. They may have to steal some more money in order to satisfy these ladies. Expect corruption index to go up sharply.

  16. Montiage Place ate my money some years ago. My friends bought gift voucher for me to use in the spa. I lost it, but remember the exact day it was bought, it was my birthday. It was bought with my name. I went there, with all this information, the manager refused to even look at the sales book to verify the information I provided. I felt cheated. She also refused me to speak with the Ms Hart. She just shut me out as if I did not matter.

    #AtTheEndofTheDay: My friends just dashed Montiage Place money on my birthday. Terrible business practices.

  18. one day Nkiru Anumudu will start melting off all the plastic on her face! Her eyebrows are permanently up and damn does she blink? The skin looks tight and painful and e still dey wear short gown at 60!

  19. @ Anon 9;31am, I agree with you. Had a bad experience with the saff at the Abuja branch inside Silverbird Ent Centre. Have not patronised them since then and instead buy when i travel or ask friends who travel abraod,to buy Black Up for me
