Mercy Johnson is pregnant!

Almost a year after she tied the knot with her beau, Prince Odianosen Okojie, the talented actress is expecting her first child. I confirmed this from her publicist this afternoon after my 'people' gave me the gist.

The actress who is still working, (she's currently on set of a movie) is said to be in her first trimester. Big congrats to her!

Complications do arise so its best kept quiet till you are far along. when i lost my previous pregnancy , i grieved in private , gosh there is no way i would have wanted the world or my friends on facebook to grief and give me pitiful faces

Me i am 12 weeks and have only told inner family. Most people at my workplace in the states don't tell until after 12 weeks

    @ Emikhe - as you are calling out Laide for his/her comment, may I ask you, did evil or medical issues take a break in 2012?

    I know that Laide was talking about spiritual forces of negatively but even on a secular level, I think Mercy should have kept her news to herself until after her first trimester. Even doctors advice their patients to keep the news within their immediate family because anything can happen during the first trimester - people suffer spontaneous miscarriages, some develop complications that may lead to having the pregnancy terminated etc.

    I wish her well in her pregnancy, it is one of the most life changing experiences a woman can ever experience.
