Mariah Carey replaces J.Lo as judge on 'American Idol'

Mariah Carey has officially joined 'American Idol' as season 12 judge, replacing Jennifer Lopez who quit last week. The singer was unveiled today by Fox Broadcasting Company as the new judge

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Mariah will earn $17 million, $2 million more than Jennifer Lopez earned.

    Now American Idol will make sense. FYI Jlo was fired. She was offered a new contract, she wanted more, they refused and askd her to leave. Steve was fired; no negotiation
