Am not a fan of Dbanj buh I have to give that to him ...so much energy and the crowd enjoyed it...fact is that Dbanj is a package...a good package....could have been much better with the whole mo hit crew buh...., he has to drop something better than Oliver twist to keep the rep..I hope he can do that without Don Jazzy...nice one Skibanj keep it up

  11. All these songs are Don J's material,I am NOT hating him, infact I am loving the fact that he is flying our flag very well internationally, but him and Don J still make a fine team. I wonder what Kanye has to offer the kokomaster now.So far it was a monkey dance scene.Dbanj urgently has to work on new material.

  38. Ok. Nice performance but the dancers got more screams than the artist. Why do suddenly though? There are much nicer songs of his tracks

    ReplyDelete
  39. Pls commenters who live in London, is dbanj a big thing there (asin they talk about him on their entertainment news, blogs e.t.c) or is it on linda's blog or other naija blogs that you hear about his doings in the u.k.

    An answer will be appreciated

And i keep saying, when is he going to release a new song without Don Jazy? its not about performing old songs or posing with Kanye, we want to see if this one can stand without Don baba.

He's gonna be d 1st Nigerian 2 win a grammy if & only if Femi Kuti doesn't get 1 b4 him bt i'll still give it 2 D'banj anyday anytine. D guy is international, he now even uses a life band, mehn dats class, d bloke is an entertainer 2 d core. Well done fam...

    1. Not a kanye thing...dbanj is increasingly popular in the Uk.... also not Ab african concert...an international concert. Jay z, ryhanna, leona Lewis and lots shared that stage

  51. He actually did very well. I am very impressed. I only pray his new single is really hot and a club banger. Killz big ups!

  55. He did real well, waow. kudos to him and his team.

    ReplyDelete
  56. He killed it. D'Banj is all over the press here in the UK. He was even on the cover of one of the most prestigious broadsheet supplements here. He is repping Nigeria and Africa very well! I'm a Ghanaian and all I read from you Nigerians is hate, hate, hate! Can't you just be happy for your own?!! What crime has he done by trying to make his music international??!

    2. Well said. I don't get the hate. We should all show support for our own.

      Delete
  57. hate him or love, he is an entertainer! Great performance. And hey guys, no matter what happens, D'banj and Jazzy are still doing things together. In case you don't know, the Oliver Twist UK version hot on the airwaves now(even on the 'Eastenders'.....main UK evening soap and the oyinbo kids were rocking like don't even go there)is actually produced by Don jazzy, so guys, these guys are just business men pursuing their different dreams.

    ReplyDelete
  58. And just so you naija doubters might wanna know, he is talked about everywhere you go in UK!

    ReplyDelete
  59. London based babe says: yes Dbanj is big here. However Crowd was not solely dbanj based he was one of a number of acts that lined up. JayZ and Kanye topped the chart. Another point is theres a lot of chop and cut in that video footage. Notice how camera focuses mainly on a particular group of Naija gals and boys? Those clips were recorded by Dbanj boys and then mashed with the bbc footage.
    My 2 cents

    ReplyDelete
  60. WOW ! Gotta give it to dbanj mehnnnn... He ripped it ! Very happy for him, but still sad bout the mohits break-up .. Wish him all d best .. And his dancers???? Double WOW !

    ReplyDelete
  61. Um, the Banj, is it? Love the music, but please put your glasses and shirt back on....There, there......isn't that better?

    ReplyDelete
  62. @ 8.58min... he cldnt call DONJAZZY's name....lol(i knw u like dbanj and u like ..... )
abi e de fear. y e shuussh himself. pls he shld do sumtin outside Don Jazzy's collabo make we see. dis na Mo'hit jamz..

    ReplyDelete
  63. No one can take it away from DBANJ, He is a born entertainer with or without Donjazzy.... I don't care if he is using Donbaba's material...Donjazzy should have use only the beats to perform naaa *Stupidshitiheardfromuguys* Have u guys listened to the SOLAR PLEXUS album? *FantasticBullshit* Y'll better free dbanj & Donjazzy.... their separation is no longer news.Rather focus on their independent careers...("Dbanj haters admit it he is shinning *wink wink)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Super duper ENTERTAINER!..... we feeling you jare.... IKECHUKWU- Deputy back up singer?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ok.....did u all know same day marvin were performing to and empty crowd at civic centre......I Laff if they were still together most of u will think it is don jazzy that organised it. One good thing 4 u haters leave the player and recognise the game. Any of u still doubting if dbanj can make a hit have not listened to sista caro....switch feat dbanj or sark die feat dbanj....we are waiting for ur mavin pple's big gig outside naija....dbanj has tried for them. Their last one was in america let c the next......

    ReplyDelete
  66. Nice, but he is still performing donjazzy's productions.he should try and perform something new.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Dbanj is really doing well with his Oliver twist song,i even got my son's teacher who teaches them Zumba @ PE asking me about other Dbanj sonsgs as they all love dancing to oliver twist during thier PE/Zumber classes. And the school is in a white dominated, working class area in Hertforshire.Well done Dbanj.

    ReplyDelete
  68. He's big here or at least his Oliver Twist is big :) Everywhere I go it's Oliver Oliver lol; school kids have the song on download on their mobiles (black & white), my all white hair salon, shops, cars driving by, the radio stations are giving it massive play. Well done to Dbanj.

    ReplyDelete
  69. KENDO well said jare i just wish it was the mohit crew that were on stage mehn it would have blown the audience away asin.... well the oyinbos looked boored until oliver twist came on then at least dem come dey throway their hands as that is the only music they recognise here in the uk the other 2 tracks he sang nah wash.

i wonder what he would have done if oliver twist did not exist in the main time don jazzy also needs the credit as it was also part of his choriography!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Great performance, not everyone can pull that off as stoned as he was...
