ReplyDeleteBaba God take care of these kids. Amen
There's a reason these kids were sent on an errand just as the plane was to crash in their home. There is a purpose in their lives and it shall soon be fulfilled. As for Fashola, may God bless him.

ReplyDeleteThis is a totally failed state. I mean how can these children have been subjected to this and it was the next day, when they were seen wandering near the site that they were rescued???? No one knew about them before or what? Where did they pass the night? Can they ever be normal again?
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy on us in this country o!
I feel so sad for my fellow Nigerians over this great loss. It is terrible.
ReplyDeleteNow I wonder how the Haitians felt when half of their country perished due earthquake.
So many casualties....Oh God please help these people. Help them Lord, be their strength, heal them from every pain and provide for the ones who have no one to take care of them I pray in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
Adaeze.
he need to adopt those kids, and make sure lagos state pays for their education from now on till they finish college. No relatives should show up abeggg let those children enjoy lagos money...
ReplyDeleteI feel you jare.
DeleteThat's Someone with Emotions&Integrity...I think he did a great Job as i'm fond of his goodwill
ReplyDeleteGood of him. He's doing what is expected of him. But if no relatives of d kids turn up, what happens to them???
ReplyDeleteCHI
Sadness all over. I hope he does more than just hold on to them until their extended family shows up.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. I pray the government makes arrangement to take care of their needs till they become young adults.
ReplyDelete@CHI rite question!
ReplyDeleteCos d realtives mit not even be able to take care of d kids.
Nigeria!!!!!! After the kids have spent about 24hrs and the whole night wondering around the Crash?
ReplyDeleteWhats happenning in that nation.... the whole country is just a mess and one big JUNGLE.
i think sending them to an orphanage would have helped cos truth be told, none of their relatives go come out o..i mean who go come remove orhpan from governor house? i just no , its unlikely relatives will come forward.
ReplyDeleteI wish all Governors can learn from this awesome guy
ReplyDeleteI wish all Governors can learn from this awesome guy
ReplyDeleteThe failed nation is confused wetin i fit do i siddon dey DRINK INDOMIE WITH BOILED SUYA NEXT PLS (OMO-IWO) SAYS SO.....
ReplyDeletePlease how did they feed and sleep last night? What happens when no relative comes for them?
ReplyDeletePpl r saying God bless Fashola like the kids are not his responsibility in the first place. Please let's hear word jor!
ReplyDeleteNa the thing wey make me dislike u igbos be this. Ungrateful wretched things. They are NOT his responsibility. He chose to do so. If you have any sense, you'll know that the governor of their state of origin should step forward or the management of Dana air. I will actually like to see the pic of these kids when they were found. They should also be questioned. Cos knowing what igbos r capable of, I dey sure say the parents probably put dem up to this.
DeleteYes,its his responsibility buh do yu knw dat there are some governors dat will be in his shoes and ignore dm???
DeletePple like ohakim dat said imsu students shld stop complaining abt the increment in skl fees as poor pple shldnt bother themselves with being educated!!!
God will definitely bless fashola and put a smile to those kids face!
Amen!!!!
We sef we dislike u. Olodo! Who told u deekay is Igbo? Abegi park well jor. Ethnic bigot like u.
Delete@ anonymous 7:09pm pls watch ur comments. Wateva u fil 4 igbos shldnt b subject of discusn here. Stay on point n who even told u dat d person dat made d comment is igbo. Dis is how we fil our hearts wit so much hatred n @ same time want 1 nija...hissd
Deletemake d children enjoy govt money
ReplyDeleteFashola forget bou dier relatives....plz jst adopt dem as ur kids plz...poor kids,The God i serve wud always Be wit us..Dat errand was for a purpose...dis is Favour..God thank u for deir lives...
ReplyDelete@no relative should show up.... I dey your side. God bless Fashola.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is Nigeria is not well organised. Gov Fashola did well by visiting and making provision for those kids but there ought to be a functioning institution on ground responsible for kids under such situations. While the governor is on inspection , there is supposed to be pple from the ministry of welfare who will ensure the security and safety of children affected by this diaster. When he visited , did he just inspect ?What is/ was his mission ? Did he do any other thing ? What abt co-ordiating rescue / recovery(ensuring the agency in charge does its job) ? What abt compensating and taking care of those affected on the ground? What abt other children who did not meet the governor by chance ? There were law enforcement agents , redcross,an outfit incharge of diaster but is there any organisation /body majorly to ensure those who lost properties / parents/pple who became homeless are cared for ? With this diaster is a chain of problems. Fashola , you are trying and I hope my questions have answers b4 they are been asked or maybe those issues I raised have already been taken care of ! WAKE NIGERIA AND LEARN EFFECTIVE DIASTER MANAGEMENT!!!!
ReplyDeleteTank u lord 4 ur faithfulness...wat if dos children were @ om wen d incident occurred?.glory be 2 u oh lord.I knw dey won't av any cause 2 suffer again cus Gov Fash is a good man.jux dt God shld give dem d fortitude 2 bear d loss nd odas too.
ReplyDeleteGod help em..
ReplyDeletePls let № relative show up cos it wld end up as a money making venture and the children may get less. Also i think they wld have found a safe place to sleepp last nite but just needed to come back today to find relatives or parents corpse. Make una give 9ja some credit now !
ReplyDeleteWho saw the kids before? At least some people should be able to come forward to say they saw them. I don't quite believe the story. *sorry to say* but, three kids wandering together or probably crying will be really difficult to miss. Lagosians are known amebos, so some people would have asked questions. *random tots*
ReplyDeletedoes it even make sense to ask the govt to adopt these kids? sense of entitlement everywhere...if he adopts them, then he might as well rally all the orphans in Lagos and adopt them. after all we can all make the arguemen that every lagos is entitled to govt money. pls apply common sense jare. Sad for the kids, but eventually, they might have to send thse kids to the orphanage cos they are not fashola's responsibility. an orphan is an orphan...whether the parents passed by shooting, plane crash or AIDS
ReplyDeleteI pray none of their relatives show up abeg! Let the governor adopt them for life. Extended families in nigeria can be so evil. Never trust them with your children. They will maltreat these kids if they get handed over to them. Relatives BIKO don't show up! Thank u!
ReplyDeleteGod bless governor fashola
ReplyDeleteOnly God knows where those children slept over nyt, God pls save Nigeria..... This is so disheartening
ReplyDeletemay God bless the govr of lagos state
ReplyDeleteHe'll probably eventually send them to the orphanage. Lagos state motherless babies home. For those of you that have bothered to visit the place or sponsor some of the kids, or make them happy during any festive periods, you will know that Fashola does not joke with the welfare or safety of the kids. Baies found on the road, lost kids, kids whose parents died in accidents are all adopted by the state and sent to an orphanage, as long as the state is notified. Am I saying there's no room for improvement? No. There definitely is, but pls give the guy some credit and thank God he saw those kids.
ReplyDeleteAm bleedin in tears here, Can ppl eva recover frm ds.God plsss take controL.
ReplyDeleteNa rescue dem go "shop"?
ReplyDeleteReally, Fashola spotted the kids, right? This story is a joke. He was told about the kids and their plight. Even the most useless Governor would have done same.
ReplyDeleteoh God pls help d little children dt dnt knw anytin abt. Tak control in der life
ReplyDeletethat is not rescue babe, what happens after the relatives showed up?
ReplyDeleteSee the difference between a strong man and a jelly. You see a man take the bull by the horn and trys to fix a problem. Not our dear Mr. GEJ. Shedding tears like it'll solve any of the problems.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you Fashola. And may God comfort those kids. #iweepformycountry.
God bless Fashola.
ReplyDeleteBut the average Nigerian is wicked sha... So the parents died, the neighbours knew and no-one took the children in? They were wandering around the site the next day? God forbid-o......
Hhhhmmm, the relatives may never show up-o... Dem fit automatically become Fashola's children......
God bless Fashola. i feel for those kids.,the Lord is their strength
ReplyDeletemany like them ha around bt dey lucky 2have been found, thankz 2 Brf
ReplyDelete@ annon 7;09pm may ur own children suffer what this children are suffering right now, i know very well that this is how ur wretched parents send u and ur siblings out to such accident sites so that some well meaning Nigerians will take u people up, no wonder u are talking from experience, ignorant fool.
ReplyDeleteMay this curse be reversed on your children, grand and great grand children, but in a worse fashion. Cos they won't have the opportunity of meeting a kind hearted gov to take care of them. Someone made an assumption, and you curse. It's like curses are the reigning thing on this blog. Smh.
DeleteOga Fash abeg come rescue me ooo... I am very hungry
ReplyDeletelollllllzzzz..Wow u guys are really funny..grand children and greatgrand children..I so love this blog..
