Dame Patience Jonathan wins Africa's Tourism Ambassador Award

Our First Lady yesterday June 26th received the Tourism Ambassador for Africa Award from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO)

She was given the award in 'recognition of her monumental commitment and support for women in tourism' during the 53rd meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Africa that held in Calabar yesterday.

  28. I think people like this don't deserve any award. Because 1. is their duty 2. there are other pleoples that are doing by far more. If i just remember what kind of lost of money and time she cause citizen by causing a eight our traffic hold on. She is not the only one though

  43. Actually this makes perfect sense. She is a woman. She likes to come to Lagos and cause traffic when she holds events to thank women for voting in her husband. She likes to hail women ('my fellow widows) and her passport has been filled with more stamps in the past two years than in many people's lifetimes combined. It would be a capital crime not to hand it to her *hiss* She'd better polish it well. That's the only award she's worthy of.
