  2. Really scary times. What can one say? Ehh? In anycase may his survivors receive the fortitude to bear this loss.

We sure do need prayers. To all of you in the diaspora who won't let us hear or read anything without expressing fear of coming back to naija in the face of all the recent negative occurences, I guess this is one more reason to remain exiled.

  13. Please we should leave God outside Nigeria 's problem, no bloody is coming to an end, our problem is man made, not everything we should bring God in... We have weak and failed institutions, d only service delivery u get out all dis is failed system... Imagine d Dana air women, dat said they were forced to fly, wat effort did she make to ensure d media was notified, probably the 163 would have been alive today. So play ur part in d revolution

  15. DIG Ningi had the opportunity to fight and eradicate crime when he was there. He retired and was given 2(TWO) policemen to protect one man, now he is no more!!! No one is safe, no not one.

  18. NYC-1 says: These things are happening everyday in Niaja and NOTHING is done to address it. What one hears from Nigeria Police is the usual slogan: "investigation is on the way to unravel the mystery. We will get to the bottom of this henious act." At the end of the day, nothing is heard anymore. The family members of the victim/s are asked to pay money if they want the investigation to continue.

The case at hand is a big deal because it is a high profile one; but, it should't be so. Every case as this, should be treated with ultimate importance.

Prayer without goodwork (action) is useless.

  20. NYC-1 says:Anon@ 10.17PM (I am, the no sender) We are not in exile. There is an old adage that says: "No place like home." But I put it to you that, that adage is taken out of context must of the time because: HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.

Home is where you can build aspiration and realize it; Home is where your life has meaning and is respected; Home is where your freedom of speech and right to live are respected; Home is where you can raise a family and make a honest living; Home is where basic essentialities are guaranted; Home is where you can look beyond the present and be assured that your children will grow up to be all they can be. If you can relate to the aforementioned, then you are at home.

The next thing some Idealists will say is: if everyone leave, who will build Niaja? Well, that is just theory, in reality, your govt don't even know you exist.
