  16. This is some goodnews. At least this should begin to reduce the need for importing those products and as we gradually progress and start from body sprays, we'll begin making our own cars, etc. God help us

  20. Its ok, no wahala, but why does it carry the star, and made to look like Super Drug trade mark? Super Drug is a beauty and pharmacy store here in the UK. Anyway nice to know they did not put Lynx or Axe there, they are proudly Nigeria and not faking foreign goods. Good attempt.

  21. Wondering what gave Superdrug the inspiration to name a product ibadan.

And it's been sold in the UK, the label on the shelf shows it.
I thought it was a naija shop at first.

    smh

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh that's wonderful! I just hope the product is good quality and that Nigerians patronize them well! because we too like janded products but I will so patronize them if it turns out to be a good product. Kudos!

    ReplyDelete
  38. If it is a good Quality why not.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I can only Imagine what this soap will do to the skin & the fragrance of the body spray. Good one seriously this shows we can get there!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm sure u know that the name 'Ibadan' was just name adopted by Superdrug for their body spray right?

    ReplyDelete
  41. What is the big deal about this, Linda you act so naive sometime i wonder if you have ever been out of lagos. Ibadan is the home of big companies like P&G, Farm milk, British American Tobacco etc. If you dont know.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ode,it is fan milk not 'farm' milk

  42. LMFAO. At least, they are been truthful about where it is made. Unlike ,my igbo brothers, them go use one fake UK address cover up.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Still I am proud to be a Nigeria,I love and miss my country ***tears***

    ReplyDelete
  44. Guys calm down. It is not made in Ibadan or by Ibadan. It is a brand by Superdrug in the UK. The name is just coincidental. Can't you see the currency sign? Sheesh. In any case..pretty funny

  45. OKAY IF THIS IS ACTUALLY REAL...THEN AM ALL FOR INDIGENIOUS BRAND, BUT IF ITS A KNOCK-OFF OR IMITATION...THEN I'LL BE DISAPPOINTED...

  47. See nigerians already criticizing †ђξ product, just cos its indigenous, instead of celebrating †ђξ franchise.... Thumbs up to †ђξ initiator....very good job... I'd get mine as soon as I lay eyes on ΐ†̥....

    ReplyDelete
  48. My guess is that a Nigerian, probably from Ibadan, was involved in the naming of this product line, hence the name. Whatever may be the case, I think it's cool...I'll defo go and look for it in Superdrug and buy it for a few Ibadan people as gifts ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. That's sold in Superdrug, saw it this afternoon and 'ibadan' DOES NOT refer to the city in nigeria, it's the name of a fragrance/scent...sheesh people! educate urselves

    ReplyDelete
  50. Before patronizing it, we have to know if it is safe for bodily consumption, for instance knowing the components and all.Good concept though, lets reduce the cost of importation in Nigeria.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh guys, this is great, i do appreciate it, wow, imagine what a better Nigeria this will create.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hmmm, wow, this is Great, i didn't expect that a Nigerian can do it, my respects.

    ReplyDelete
  53. lmao, superdrug logo... IBADAN KINI SO

    ReplyDelete
  54. The main point is that na naija city name dey there. Big ups naija.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Folks stop mixing up matters. This is not a Naija product..this is strictly and IBADAN product, lol...to be used by Ibadan boys only for Ibadan Boys Are Dangerous At Night....lol
