    1. I'm guessing uv never heard the term 'knock off'. This dress, the original that is, goes for about 10thousand pounds. At least that's how much I saw it when I was planning my wedding

  18. Linda,,,thank God you didnt put the outlet from which it can be bought from..lool..selfish i know.

  19. @6:32 PM why are u sending us link for cheap knock off version of the dress. No everyone deals in knockoff i can assure you those links u are sending , the neckline will be very crooked ,and the quality of fabric poor

Original always stand out , stephanie rocked the original , dont lets ur stupid link dat away

Linda I hope I did not take this the wrong way.But what was the essence of this post?If it was
1)to prove to all those that said Stephanie's dress wasn't the original then it's downright silly and silly and silly and childish.
Why do we dignify those that say awful things? Why is there the need to prove that I have money?why the need to vilify or justify earthly things?why the childish need to say "ntoooo"(shame to my backstabbers)?i hope Stephanie did not make you do this,it's silly. Her wedding was beautiful without the need to prove her dress is original.WHY THE NEED LINDOOOO WHY.She had a wedding,it was beautiful so what the heck is this silly comparison to prove to the world that the gown was the "original" gown???(and watch people try to prove it's the fake)#sigh#who effing cares?chai!

  21. very lovely dress, i tried this dress in a bridal store in london but it didnt look this lovely on me ooo, she rocked it girl

who is that cheap stake sending links to the knock off version (6.32pm)....lol. nigerian people sha, the original is about 4,000 pound not that nonsence price on that link. not everyone deals in knockoff and the difference is 7UP

  26. Godbless u ONOME.
    couldnt have said it better.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Even Davids bridal is not $400 not to talk of Elie Saab, you are missing extra zero in that figure ... Please bush nigerian educate yourselves .

stephanie looked absolutely breathtaking in the original Elie Saab and probably set her back a pretty penny. Its her day and why not if she can afford it .

  28. @6.32 - see your dirty mouth saying "i guess the Paris Venue really sucked up the budget

Silly thing , where have you seen Elie Saab dress for $350 .... Nigerians can like to smart and show their ignorance. Please learn how to be happy for people and not sound stupid.

It doesnt matter that the dress is over your budget and honestly over mine, whats important is that she looked so beautiful and elegant .

Thumbs up for her overall look . She try and stepped it up

  29. She looks fab.

  30. Anon 9:03pm - yes a grand big 390000 pennies (equivalent to a 10 year old's piggy bank).

Its illegal to sell knock-offs (epsecially online) under any designer's real name/brand, So abegi let's call a spade a spade especially since other blogs have already started copying and pasting it. PS*Linda you rock!!!

  34. Omg this woman has officially become my favorite. Elie Saab is my favorite designer! May God butter my bread too oh

    ReplyDelete
  35. The gown is by Elie Saab for Provonais, all top designers do this, they market there designer names to larger markets at cheaper prices, Vera Wang does the same for David's Bridal.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Nigerians shaaaas, see bad belle.Just be happy for her, bloody negative nellies.whether it costs 4pounds or 4000 pounds, or whether it was made by Ellie Saab or sura the tailor.. its none of your bloody business. Her husband owns a media consulting firm....but there are some pretty good knockoffs out there sha ooo...just saying lol

  39. @ Onome, why would you insinuate that Linda put the pic up for people to check out if its a knock off? I know Linda can be cunning, but Nomsy, why not just leave the post as is, and lets all just admire the dress on both model and end user like Steph. Like someone said on this blog, whether its knock off or not (who cares anyway) she is now a valid Mrs. I saw other bloggers put up post of the model and Steph too so pls, .............

  40. Goodluck to Steph, hope this marriage works out better than the one to the footballer.

    ReplyDelete
  41. At the moron asking why Linda gave us dibs on the designer of her dress, its because some interested readers asked her to find out! Why do you think there is α̲̅ red carpet at events? Its ‎S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ the designers can get credit for their work, that's why on E! they always ask who the celebs are you wearing.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It looks better on d model!

    ReplyDelete
  43. The dress looks even better on steph than it did on the model! And I also like d touch of d belt.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Why cant you people be honest for once. There is nothing wrong with her proving she wore the original. Busybody if were in her shoes you will do more than that hatred will give yuo nothing rather it will bring you down for refusing to say the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Don't usually agree with Onome, but for this i so agree with you.

    ReplyDelete
  46. ONOME says.................
Don't usually do this but felt I needed to clear some things.

I have never seen the need to dignify nasty comments people make.I realised some things early on in life that people will always talk. And not every one wishes you well. Some like you, some hate you and some think you stink to high heavens! So why give them extra ammunition?
I still think that Linda put up this post to "prove" that Stephanie's gown was/is the "it".And I really really wondered why.Why the need to prove anything?Stephanie's wedding was beautiful.I loved her gown makeup, hair, bouquet, etc etc.Whether the gown was by Elle/Ella/Elli/Ello/Ellu etc is so not relevant. But anyhow who am I to talk?what do I know about fashion anyways? My wedding gown sef na tailor for my backyard sew am.So make I kukuma quiet.lolllllllll
Maybe I took it the wrong way.(which iI mentioned in my earlier comment anyway.)Just maybe!!

  47. Onome you are stupid and gassed dickhead. Bloglord i just lost all respect for you for agreeing with onome sheep. If you two idiots went to school and know how to read as good as you can write rubbish ni you will see that on the post of step's wedding pics alot of pple asked where the dress is from. 50. Chikaka on the contrary I usually agree with Onome but not this time. There's nothing to insinuate that Linda has unterior motives by putting up this post except to enlighten those of us that don't know. And I'm duly enlightened. Valerie.
