"Own Was a Mistake" - Oprah Winfrey

During an interview with "CBS This Morning" yesterday, the former queen of talk show admitted her Oprah Winfrey Network was a big mistake...doomed from the start. She said:
The idea of creating a network was something that I wanted to do. Had I known that it was this difficult, I might have done something else.
If I knew then what I know now, I might have made different choices. If I were writing a book about it, I could call the book '101 Mistakes.

  1. And why won't people love Americans like this? Honesty......can we really be this honest and own up to bad decisions, choices and acts? We would rather die in the failure instead of saying it is a failure, get up,dust ourselVes and move on!
Let's learn to be true to ourselves in this Country..it will go along way.

  9. Linda that Oprah's statement doesn't translate into what you wrote as in the network being "doomed from the start". It hasn't failed yet or has it? Every big venture is always difficult at the beginning, am sure even the first days of your blog were difficult. Let's be careful how we interpret what people say.
