Musician Youssou Ndour Appointed Minister in Senegal

The 52 year old Grammy-award winning Senegalese singer has been appointed Senegal's new tourism and culture minister in President Macky Sall’s cabinet. He ran for president late last year, but was disqualified. So he jumped to the forefront of an opposition campaign to unseat the country's president, 85 year old Abdoulaye Wade.

Macky Sall was elected president on March 25, N'dour was made Minister last week

  3. I wonder if the actors and actresses that are in public office now are changing lives positively? May God help us to see beyond ourselves.
