Missile from a Nigerian Air Force jet accidentally hits building in PH

The incident happened early this morning at the Woji Area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Rivers State police commissioner told reporters that the jet was on routine maintenance at the NAF hangar in Port Harcourt when the missile accidentally took off and hit an uncompleted building a few kilometers away in Woji. Fortunately there was no death or injuries, just panic among residents.

  3. Are u sure it wasn't Boko Haram (Hausa / Fulani) pilot using southerners as target practice? Northern pilots should not be allowed over southern airspace, especially my father's village :)

  14. I wonder how a missile was left on an aircraft while it was being maintained in a service hangar .. And besides for those of us that know all about fighter jets .. For a missile to be fired it first has to have its safety cap switched of by those who load the ordnance , then armed from within the cockhole before the firing sequence is engaged .. So this story has some hidden stuff in it

  16. Testing of 'Missile Guidance System'
It appears the Nigerian military is posturing with its ordnance capabilities.

This will be a regular occurrence, with undertones of war games, its hard not to believe that the impending civil in 2015 is not fast approaching a reality.

Nigerians, we have brought this on ourselves, wake up. Turn the lights on.
