ReplyDeleteAnother N5billion naira gone.....just like that !!!!! Waste of money, full stop. Use it to create gainful employment in Nigeria for the millions of jobless young people in Nigeria. ! Why not pour the money into the health sector instead of seeking to manipulate the way we are perceived !? Do good thngs for your citizens and you dont need to spend a kobo on image laundering !!!
ReplyDeleteGET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT, PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING.
WTH...my guess is they've lost focus & now deviced a method do embezzling funds. Can't get my head around what they wanna do. Pathetic
ReplyDeleteDUMB!!! why cant Nigeria just get its house in order and then you wont have to worry about how you're being seen outside? I swear its as if illiterates are running the country.
ReplyDeleteAs if ke? Illiterate is too good a word for them. Mtchew. Ijeoma
DeleteIt's time the oduduwa nation rise to the occasion and dump these Northern and Eastern fat fcuks who continue to tarnish our image and drag us behind. A ki du ori olori ki awodi gbe teni lo.
ReplyDelete--Gbenga
You're obviously an ethnic bigot, a little more stupid than most goats. Why would you point at the north or the fast and present the wept as saints? Why not just call them criminals?
DeleteThis gbenga iv been hearing about you from other commenters and damn u have issues lol. Everything isnt tribal you know, our country is in chaos we need to work together not fight and point fingers at tribes. Remain small you self go start your own boko haram on LIB. And, no im not igbo im very yoruba.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why these "wise" ideas never sit well with me. If they at e trying to do something great, whynisnthebentire info not made available to the public. That's always my problem with Nigeria, everything is hush hush so we won't know what to query them for. I'm sure we won't hear of this ever again, or not for ages. Very sad , this doesn't change the Verage Nigerian from being the same person that they are.
ReplyDeletethey have started looting again with an umbrella name of "image laundering"
ReplyDelete5billion! ok now!
its either this was not reported properly or this is one of the big scams...
ReplyDeletelets hope its the former.
Daylight robbery without masks....
ReplyDeleteWhy are these so called leaders doing this country like this. Money that is supposed to be used to generate employment for unemployed Nigerian youth. Whether you like it or not, that money is also gone like others. I laff in spanish for this country.
ReplyDeleteSo the digital transmission equipments will MAKE UP the story it will disseminate? No be wetin dey happen the equipment for transmit? ABi them go still doctor the transmission?
ReplyDeleteRoad shows for image laundering? CLUELESS administration
***Can u all LIB readers do me a favour and totally ignore Gbenga and his irresposnible, uncouth and uncalled for remarks? He is just a helpless attention freak***
What people see with their eyes speaks louder & clearer than N100 billion worth of "image laundering digital equipment". Citizens & foreigners are being killed daily by terrorists, infrastructure on ground is grossly inadequate and near collapse and the best our genius of a government can come up with is cosmetic surgery. Misplaced priorities driven by stake holders greed, remains a strong foundation for corruption in this country. Image is a reflection of ur being, it's garbage in garbage out. No matter how expensive a mirror is' it will never make an ugly person beautiful. Let the country improve itself, it's image will automatically be laundered by it's own progress. Goodwill can never be bought. Clueless Jonathan
ReplyDeletejonathaaannnn eeeeee abeg use dat money build small manufacturing factories to create jobs or help sustain d refineries and textile industries we have. u don't need to deploy images abi machines to other countries thereby also encouraging their economy....wait o, dis sounds like Allison n okonji's ideas....abi na patience advise you.....dis president is just an ignoramus am sorry to say this.he is yet to give us concrete reason behind the subsidy removal after finding out it was al a hoax.... the only way to transform this view of Nigerians in the eyes of the world is create more jobs no matter how much the salary is, then you and ur cohorts should stop laundering money..yes you Jonathan u also launder money but u will b exposed when you are out of the office......yeye
ReplyDeleteGod will punish this people , instead of them to repair our roads, improve health facilities, electricity , provide jobs e.t.c. They are busy siphoning money into their pockets. All in the name of image laundering. We've missed it totally in this country. *angry*
ReplyDeleteThat money wud go a long way in improving Nigeria itself if put in d health or education sector. Then word of mouth would spread the good news of Naija. Whats the use of spending so much on the media and then the foreigners come here and are disappointed?
ReplyDelete@Gbenga...a yoruba fat fcuk ruled for 8 yrs...we r still yet to recover form that...if tribalism gets u this sensitive, u cld seek asylum in Sudan!
ReplyDeletewhat you guys should really be wondering is why this government does not fear or respect us. such brazen thievery!!!
ReplyDeletegbenga so you have been sleeping or what you are back again with your foolishness instead of you to comment on the post you are hear yaning nonsense mschew!!!
ReplyDeleteSERIOUSLY!!!N5BILLION THAT CAN BE USED FOR WAYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS???THIS GOVERNMENT IS INDEED CLUELESS!
ReplyDeleteNAWAAAAAAAAAA OOOOOOOO!! N5bn for image ni? when youths are unemployed and security is a serious joke? our health system alone can kill a very healthy person. why are these peeps like this naaa?
ReplyDeleteONE DAY POOR MAN NO GO SEE FOOD CHOP, E GO CHOP BIG MAN!! Nonsense pple, na their children and siblings dey kill our image gan for there!
as for GBENGA, sorry for u, be doing omo yoruba while others are enjoying, slacker with no swag!!
5 Billion on image laundering? why spend such huge amount on deception?
ReplyDeletenothing is working in Nigeria yet u are pumping money into being seen in a positive light? Foreigners get into Nigeria and right there at the airport, there is no light, passengers wait for hours before being able to collect their luggages. why not channel this money into making things work i.e boost security, fix d roads, ensure good power supply n create employment for the youths.
if all of these is in place i doubt the need for this "image laundering scheme"
its obvious the subsidy probe has cut short their stealing thus this is another device mechanism for continuous looting.
too bad! SHAME TO Federal Govt Of Nigeria! SHAME to Jonathan!
yo!!! its your boy Jo!! you know your president. i know Nigerians are suffering(i used to have no shoes you know), and the 5 billion will go a long way in creating employment, healthcare and blah blah blah and if invested properly will improve the economy. But you see me and my senators really need to upgrade on our cars, our kids need to be in the best schools abroad ,our underaged girlfriends will need something sometin to spend in school ....etc.
ReplyDeletei know Nigerians understand this and that is why they continue to honor us the elite(who used to have no shoes by the way) and reserve the best seat for us in church and allow us to take the first reading in the sermon.
I assure you of equitable distribution of funds;3 billion will be shared among the presidency and senate and 1 billion to the house of reps and 1 billion to the contractors(who will spend 50,000 Naira on the project)....
Long live Nigeria,Boko Haram and peace in the middle east
We need Jobs plsssss
ReplyDeleteanother waste from oga jona siddon dey look 5 billion kei GEJ really does not know what his priorities are what a shame
ReplyDeleteAs a Nigerian in Diaspora, with all the tech available we already are inundated with news, what we need is for Nigeria to clean up its act, provide basic amenities, start with water and light, good infrastructure and that will bring in the foreign investors and tourist needed. You cant market something you havent got!
ReplyDeleteN5b on image laundering??? Make dem bring the image (assuming we still have one), my washaman will launder it better with borehole water and sunlight soap for far less than that. Awon oloshi!!
