  5. yes linda every years CBS does this stupid thing where they show the Grammies at 8pm no matter where you are. The show is recorded at 5pm LA time so it is live for the people in the East Coast but we in LA have to wait for 8 PM Local time to watch it when everybody in NYC has seen it already... And since the people abroad get their streaming from the east coast they watch it before us.. Stupid but true!

  14. Pierce Morgan is a Los Angeles JJC [In this case a PJC]. So, welcome to L.A. Pierce.
Grammy Awards is never live in Los Anges, period. The reason being that the slot is not PRIMETIME in that market.
Perhaps somebody should tell him that we also watch all the CNN live streams, live in Nigeria.
If he sees the data and 2nd screens infographics on TV viewing in Nigeria, IDeas will jump into his head.
Yes, Grammys' do stream live in Nigeria.....I am getting ready for a repeat broadcast tonight on Channel 102

  17. its common sense that anyone in the broadcast industry knows all Awards telecast are not shown live on the west coast, due to time difference. Unfortunately this has been the norm for the last 25yrs....Oscars, Golden Globes, etc.....only sports thats transmitted LIVE to all sometimes.

If you broadcast grammys live in LA, that means TV stations have to create new content for the 8pm-11pm timeslot.
In the US, stations bound by a contract to broad at primetime slotes (7pm-10pm), wherever the timezone is.

you jand idiots should hush abeg...wetin una sabi

  18. I was in LA and that pissed me off, so I had to find somewhere to watch it live online. CBS is so silly for that, PST or not, its the weekend, they should have been able to figure stuff out somehow! Our place is 15mins drive from Staples Center, where it was being held. EPIC FAIL!!!!
