  15. God is an amazing, loving, faithful and great God! This is such positive and wonderful news. I am happy for them as if I dey related to them because e no easy to be seen as barren in Nigeria and he stood by her when lesser men would have used that as an excuse to cheat or leave her.

    1. The male and female both share a part in infertility, so sad people assume the problem is always with the woman. In a third of cases it's the woman, in another third, the man and in the last third both man and woman. And worst still in some instances, it's unexplained. If only people would be more informed about this....

Congrats Nneka and Isaac. May this be the continuation of God's grace in your lives!

  19. Thank God Rili hapi for them, May the good lord keep and bless the baby. @ Dee, that is why God is God and Kabiosi he is beyond questioning, he has decided to bless them @ ds time, ds is his perfect time praise to his name. What if she had had in the past and the baby died or came down with some ailment that would have destroyed their home, yu wud stil blame God. Learn to trust that he means the best for us especially if you are a believer. If you can't trace his hands like in situation like this, learn to trust his heart.*Max Lucado* Then again you miss the point your anger ought to be channeled towards the devil who is the king of wickedness not God that God chooses to do nothing at times well you just have to trust him and know he would help you when he believes is perfect for you not when you neccesarily want. #nuffsaid.

Congrats to the couple once again.

  27. Congrats Nneka and Isaac. I am soooo happy for you. God is indeed good.

To all: i am appealing to everyone to make a very small change that i believe could help in changing the attitude of Nigerians in general to the problem of infertility. Please delete the word "barren" from your vocabulary when you are refering to a childless/infertile couple. "Barren" is just a very depressing, cringe-inducing word. It always reminds one of arid land; a desert that no good thing can come out of.

And it is inextricably linked with the notion that it is of course the woman who is barren; no one ever says the man is barren!

"Barren" encourages the blame game of Nigerian infertility which we have no business engaging in (unless we are either half of the couple concerned).

But i see that even here, as Nneka and Isaac are being congratulated, people like Make-up by Teju are implying that it was Mr Moses who was patient in standing by his wife (not the other way around)while they were waiting for their blessing. Again like i said, it's none of our business trying to figure out who was patient with who.

  36. why are u all attacking this dee person? he or she have no problem in their life.remember the fool says in his heart there is no God. Abraham waited 25yrs to have his promised son. today isaac and nneka are a testament that whatever we go through if we wait. it too shall come to pass. i decided long ago if i have kids to God be the glory if not then to God be the glory. If you love God so much, the devil has nothing to attack in ur life. congrats again- segun newyork
