Actress Halima Abubakar and family leaving Kano for good

The actress and her family have lived in the northern state of Kano all their lives, they even have businesses there but because of insecurity in the north, and especially after the multiple bomb blasts last week, which I hear came close to home, the actress has decided to relocate her family.

In April 2011, the building habouring Halima and her mother's bakery and restaurant, Godiya Confectioneries, was burned down during the riot that engulfed some parts of the north after the April 2011 elections.

  20. We may soon start demanding for resident visas for Ibos and Hausas migrating to Yoruba land in search of peace and prosperity. Ibos are running to Yorubaland for safety and jobs, Hausa/Fulanis are also running to Yorubaland in search of jobs and safety. That is why Yorubaland is becoming congested and I wish ACN will require resident permits for non Yorubas living in South west.

  27. These bastard dumb Islamic religious animals. Just making life a miserable hell for all. Do you know how many of my family members with "Muslim" names that have been denied visas just to visit the UK and US. Its not like we want to live there, just to visit, sight see, shop and come back o and now these pigs have spoilt it for us, now even in our very dear own country, other non muslims or non hausas will be scared to interact with us. These people have the hottest part of hell awaiting them
