The governor of Delta State, where the sick veteran actor is from, has pledged N3 million to help with the actor's medical bills and welfare. Governor Uduaghan made the pledge recently after calls where made to him to assist the actor who has been bedridden with stroke for over two months now. The governor of Lagos state, Raji Fashola and some of Mr Elebuwa's colleagues have also made donations.

ReplyDeleteI sincerely wish Enebeli speedy recovery
God bless the governor for extending himself to Mr. Elebuwa BUT what I wish the good governor would do is talk to the president, members of house and the representatives about having social services for the elderly! It is very sad that an oil/mineral rich country like Nigeria doesn't have ANY social services for it's disabled, ill and elderly. Shameful and Sad. America may not have free health care like some other Western countries BUT they have Medicaid and Medicare which still helps in its ineptitude.
ReplyDeleteyour excellency, as you have decided to help the sick, God in His infinite mercy will guide and protect you in all your endevours. I wish him quick and speedy recovery.
