Taxi Drivers Ground Business Activities in Kwara State

As the demand for new salary scale continues around the Nation, taxi drivers under the aegis of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) early this morning grounded all business activities in Ilorin, the state capital as they pressed for increament in transport fare accross the state from the initial #30 per drop to #50. They explained that following the state government's agreement to pay the #18,000 minimum wage to it's workers, there is a need for them to increase the fare to balance the ratio.

  3. Linda my sister, I just feel like writing in German language. My heart is heavy and bitter. Kindly translate my comment to others. Ich bin sehr traurig, weil der Fahrpreis immer höher wird. Die Taxifahrer haben uns nichts von ihren Problemen erzählt. Es ist dumm von den Taxifahrern, dass sie den Fahrpreis erhöhen.
