Yeni Kuti Gets N4.5m Hyundai SUV As BIrthday Gift + Pictures From 50th Bday Party

 
Fela's first child, Yeni Anikulapo Kuti turned 50 on May 24, 2011 and on her birthday she got a brand new Hyundai SUV, 2009 edition from...nobody knows who...she wouldn't say. "It was given to me by somebody special, I don't want to embarrass anyone (laughs). I am so excited about it."Yeni said when asked about the car.

    madam english language .... that is no oxymoron. yes it is a brand new 2009 edition as opposed to a used 2009 edition.
    in case you didn't know, you can buy past year models new.

    Where do you buy a brand new 2009 car? 2009 cars were made in 2008. So somewhere in this world, a Hyundai was sitting in someone's lot for 3 years till it was bought for Yeni?

    Guys that is an Hyundai ix35, its a 2010 model and happens to be the latest replacement for the Hyundai Tucson.
    So first off, Linda was wrong about the year of the car and second even if it was 2009, its still the latest model in its series.

    truth be told, the point anon 4.51pm is making is actually valid. The car is supposed to be brand new and is a 2009 model for $4.5 million, a Hyundai?!! I beg to disagree, pleeease! Truth is people tend to tell these little white lies in Nigeria.

    Sakara - correct person! The RAG in Ragolis bought her the first one and he's still getting his sidekicks from her. He may just have bought this one. But, what's his love for Hyundai? Me, i'd have asked for a G-wagon because he can frigging afford it.

    Why won't he love his wife? She's been there through thick and thin. However, from his own mouth i've heard him say that he loves smoking weed and good sex. Yeni is fire inside and outside. Lol.
