Whao,sad situation Imagine the time wasted waiting for someone-a relative to drive the women/getting a taxi when they can conveninetly do the driving themselves and therfore use their time for other activites, reduce pressure on male relatives and as the man in the interview said-avoid taking special permission from work to take a family member /wife to school,hospital etc.
I really hope they win this battle and have the rights to drive.. its a pity but not only Saudi women are banned but other arab countries still have 16th centuries ideas on how women should behave....
