"I will make education free in Imo State"- Rochas Okorocha

“I will make education in Imo State free so that the poorest of the poor can afford to go to school, my promise to the people of Imo State still stands, the essence if my government will be to bring the people who are down up and by creating a new middle class un Imo State” Rochas Okorocha (APGA) Gov-Elect Imo State.

I kinda have faith in this guy. Hopefully, he will deliver.

  6. @anno 12:19, let's join our hands and pray that he ll do it.
i don't believe that all the politicians are monster but i believe there are strong evil forces surounding that seat that manipulats them once they enter. many of them had good intensions but once they enter there, they will be blind until they comes out.
he has been helping the poor, let's hope he ll continue.

  13. I pray God give him the wisdom to go about it the right way. I am a product of free education. I wonder if I would have been able to go to school if not for free education, considering the financial strength of my dad. I am very sure his free education programme would lessen the burden of many parents in Imo.

  16. There is absolutely nothing like free education in Nigeria, we have been hearing that for decades now.

If he is saying free now, let him check his dictionary first and understand the meaning of free, no be to say free and then later turn around to say the free na only tuition fee him been dey mean.

I have family friends in Imo State have have personally benefited from this guy. he has a good past behind him. He has already built a good number of schools and employed many people from his own pocket. Owerri and Orlu have lots of potential. the only thing the villages need is good infrastructure, hospitals/medical care, and schools. OH, LET'S NOT FORGET CONSTANT ELECTRICITY, but it seems the FG wants to handle that one, smh...

  18. IJN he will deliver, didn't know Rochas foundation sch was almost everywere even in d north n even d babarians called hausa's are benefiting from his free education without discrimination or intimidation of any kind till i went to serve in kano state, his sch's are standard sch's that can pass for private sch yet they are free, he's been a philantropist with a large and kind heart since time imemorial, schooled in IMSU owerri then and had so many coursemates who benefited from his free education scheme, now that he's gov n has d power to do more, don't think he's going to disappoint d pple of imo state, he's a man of his words, God bless and lead him

  20. Rochas is a good man! He is a family friend and the guy has long been a philanthropist. He even has two (or more) FREE private well equipped schools where the less privileged attend, and after graduation, the best top students get scholarships to universities of their choices in the world. I really do believe him, and so ecstatic that he won cos i know that he will help raise Imo higer! Its about time!
