Beauties of the day: Munachi and Adaeze

Ex beauty queens: MBGN '07, Munachi Abii, 23 and MBGN '08 Adaeze Yobo, 21.
Other than they look a little older than their ages...probably because of their make up...God really took his time on these women. Absolutely gorgeous!

  1. I was going to say the same thing that they look a lot older than their ages. Easy on the make-up. I'm sure they are still gorgeous without it.

  9. @anon 3.45...whats the big deal about saying someone looks a little older because of the make up they have on? what stone am i throwing? I'm 30 but i look 35...i don't take offense when people say that to me.

    relax my darling...:-)

  14. Pretty Girls, but yes, they do look older. I think Nigerian girls need to move away from this overthetop outthere look. It's sooo yesterday. Loads of makeup and contacts and Hair extensions!!! Not a great look at all. Also Girls, too much makeup does age you. It's classier to have the toned down, natural look. And Linda, I think it's inappropriate to join issues with your readers, just ignore silly, evil comments like these.

  15. i have always thought about whether to marry for beauty or love because of my good upbringing but i have made up my mind now...it is either i would marry a beautiful nigerian girl or marry a white woman to give birth to beauties.

this life afterall is all vanity....i have made my decision....

even if there is a price so be it....

beauties may never be humble....religious...or even satisfy their husbands sexually...but i am ready to bear the pain....

    this life is nothing

i will work hard to be a good christian and God will help me

  21. Make up was originally developed to enhance beauty like if your not too good-looking.but now pretty girls even use it more than the not so pretty ones.infact not-so-pretty girls are the trend now...the last has suddenly become the 1st..I don't get the amount of foundations and concealers young girls are caking their faces with these days? What are they concealing? Sleepless nights?and most of them don't even have regular jobs so wharaheck!!!. The kinda wings young girls in their 20's are growing now..mmmnnnn...na real wa.just see the 2of them, little girls that should be in their hostels studying for their exams..infect btw the 2of them none is a graduate, and it's not cos their parents cannot afford to send them to school but cos their attention has already been overtaken by the things of this world.we are in trouble...the things God will judge when he comes eehhh....

    ReplyDelete
  22. it may be me but I definitely don't think Adaeze is beautiful- her looks just don't appeal to me at all! Munachi on the other hand, that's what you call a beauty!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Jeeez.. they look wayyy older than thier ages.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 'ojuju calabars'...excessive makeup from head to toe. pls linda you can do better than this. give us better pics of the day...abeg

    ReplyDelete
  25. well ofcourse some like you Linda who has to go thru hours and metamorphises of fake everything to look "OK" will be attracted to ladies with fake hair fake eyes fake everything. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    ReplyDelete
  26. i remember being 21 or even 23, freshfaced and barely any make-up save for the occasional eyeliner and lip-gloss, hair (mine) slicked back or sometimes a neat discreet weave etc . Even now in my 30's I still follow the same rules and people usually say I do not look like i'm in my 30s. Point is all you Lal vasquez, Kim Kardarshian wannabes,(and, no offence to these two, they look glam) please, please try not to look like a hustler. Especially, yes, I am saying it, my sisters from the South-side *wink*. Love you'all!

    ReplyDelete
  27. They both have great bodies. They are both pretty but Munachi is prettier in the video IFUNNAYA; despite the fact that the wind blew her hair, to reveal undergrowth.

I can see that Munachi is in blue contact lenses in the pic. I no blame am o. I for wear golden colour lenses if I find def. Na small world.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oooooh Linda! Work never tire you that's why you get time to answer senseless people.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Pretty girls. I would love to see them with their hair pulled back and less make-up!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Linda, have you seen Iman's latest pic at the Met event? TOO GORGEOUS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. munachi is almost 30 yrs old,not 23. she lived and worked in london with her dad and mum for a while after he abandoned his first wife for muna's mum, and as fr adaeze her immaturity shows in the way she speaks i dunno about her.

    ReplyDelete

  36. Alicia says...3 May 2011 at 23:39

Munachi is pretty but Adaeze is not as pretty as she used to be and it has nothing to do with her having had a baby. she looks so much better with dark dark brown colored hair than anything else. drop these red, blonde, stuff, abeg.
and i think Munachi's hair looks thin/receding because she did shave it not too long ago.

  39. OH NO! Get the hell outta here..... Munachi sister ezenwanyi dated my cousin and she says Muna was born 1982. i dont get why people reduce their age that much. common ladies age is nuttin but a number but for peagent sake is understandable tho. As for Adaeze...shes only a baby but she married way too early sha for my opinion.

They are pretty girls o! Truth be said.

If you comment too much they will start swearing on your head!

    ReplyDelete
  42. My opinion: I do not think they are pretty because there is much make up. They are making up for what they do not have.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hate it,love it. They are both gorgeous

    ReplyDelete
  44. I just can't get past the contacts, its way too distracting

    ReplyDelete
  45. this picture doesnt do any of them justice. they are much prettier than this

    ReplyDelete
  46. mehn! i tot it was adaeze with her mum. way too much unblended foundation. invest in a foundation and powder brush. i hear shes got great skin so please less is more! thats the rule if makeup. or better still munachi, you could try the light/med coverage foundations.

    ReplyDelete
  47. To be fair, I also went through the crazy cosmetic stage, only mine was when using glitter was the rage as well as blue nail polish. Chei and I really felt creative about that!lol! I just grew out of it.

But Linda, hmm these same people?

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, didnt you write about them (in one way or the other) not too long ago?

    I see a pattern here

Who wants to bet that Linda will feature Adaeze's mother yet again? lol

@onyi....it seems we think alike!!! i have to say we do HOLD IT DOWN FOR NIGERIA WHEN IT COMES TO THE BEAUTY DEPARTMENT. hehehehehe.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Naija sha, these girls are pretty, if they like they should put all the make up or human hair, it doesnt change the fact that they are beautiful...the same people praising beyonce, rihanna, kim kardashian et al are criticising munachi and adaeze for wearing too much make up...do u know how much make up american celebs wear??? but yet you call them beautiful...

    ReplyDelete
  53. haha This Linda sef is funny. see how she has removed SIX GOOD YEARS from Munachis age. even the munachi sef can fight with you on this. She is almost 30!23 my ass, that old hag. biko linda please where did you get 23 from...what source..?smh.

    ReplyDelete
  54. whether they r 30 or 35 d r pretty who cares abt dir age.after all didn't Stella Damascus just celebrate her 32nd birthday whn we all know that Stella is abt 38.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Munachi is gorgeous on the outside, but she must be very empty on the inside.
Adaeze just has this mgbeke edge that no amount of brazilian weave will get rid of. Cute girl though, but she looks nowhere near her alleged 21 yrs old. Hard living much?

To the anonymous who thinks marrying a white woman will give him "beauties" you never start. Lagos is full of WORWOR biracial kids. If you're ugly, just don't procreate shikena!

    ReplyDelete
  56. lol...Muna is not 23. Adaeze regardless of how old she looks with make up is still a baby and acts like one. Like the kids will say, whatever!..:)

    ReplyDelete
  57. anon 1.21pm from her age when she went for MBGN in 07.

    ReplyDelete
  58. lol....does it mean Stella was 17 or 18 when i met her in Enugu in '08 abi '09? And she was married then or was already a widow sef....hisssss

    ReplyDelete
  59. The girls are okay. They do need to ease up on the use of makeup.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I use to deceive myself that muna isnt fine..but she's gorgeous. The blue contacts just doesnt fit her. Adaeze on the other hand is not gorgeous but she is good looking.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Mehn!that their age nah football age o.Theyre still pretty tho.

    ReplyDelete
  62. It's not easy to be a beauty queen-you'll always want to look beautiful at all times. That's why they wear heavy make up and I honestly think it still suits them. Trust Nigerians, if they wear nude make up, they will complain that they are loosing their vibes as beauty queens! Muna and Ada, please live your lives as you like it from hair to makeup and let haters hug transformers!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. They both look like drag queens to me.

While she is attractive, I would not label munachi abii as gorgeous. Her nose is too bulky for my liking and she would benefit tremendously from a nose job. Halle Berry did it and it catapulted her in the looks department. I like slim noses. For me an attractive wonan is jessica white and naomi campbell. Very bautiful noses. They are the types of looks that appeal to me.

As for adaeze...she is not putting her husbands money to good use. When your husband is in money, you should look unattainable like victoria beckham. Here, anyone including a blind man can emulate adaeze's look; from her tacky weave to the greasy makeup.

    ReplyDelete
  64. adaeze is a very young girl..i remember her in 1983 as barely a toddler in their family home in Awka Etiti, and her mom was dragging her around clinging to her then husband Ik Igwe, bcos there were so many very young girls around...Muna has more of a refreshing and non igbotic look...

    ReplyDelete
  65. "They both have great bodies. They are both pretty but Munachi is prettier in the video IFUNNAYA; despite the fact that the wind blew her hair, to reveal undergrowth."

@ Anon 8:39, that cracked me up sooo bad!!

@ Anon 3:45: Your "family wedding" comment is one of the dumbest statements I've read in a while.

These girls do look old no thanks to makeup! Munachi is and will always be prettier!

    ReplyDelete
  66. i said 1983 i meant 1993...

    ReplyDelete
  67. LOOOOOOOOOOL at Igbotic look. some people will not kill me with their hating oooo.

and for the person talking about noses, please carry your self hate, western-brainwashed ass somewhere else!

    ReplyDelete
  68. You know what i have never commented on this blog before, but the amount of hating going on in this section is abominable! These girls are gorgeous period! Beautiful skin and the make up is flawless!
Its funny that all these Nigerian girls are commenting about make up when everybody knows Nigerian girls wear the most make up ever! Lip liners e.t.c
And as far as skin goes ...who cares of someone is pretty because of skin complexion, some are pretty because of their facial features, some have beautiful bodies and some have beautiful skin complexions depending on what you like...Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! And so what if Adaeze is immature, she is married to a successful man! Please ladies and gentlemen focus on getting you own life on track and stop leaving disrespectful comments about enviable young ladies!

    ReplyDelete
  69. if they are not pretty what is the definition of pretty?/ they are pretty just too much make up on

    ReplyDelete
  70. age or beauty does not matter it is what they have achieved that matters.

    ReplyDelete
  71. these ladies would have still look nice without make up i wonder which test they failed that they made use of make up

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm pretty sure the age up there is there age when they won their Miss Nigeria Titles.

    ReplyDelete
  73. what does sildenafil feel like
