African China's 'Mr President' is Nigerian song of the decade?

That's according to Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), who picked the song for it's lyrical content after many months of deliberating. I love the song and think it deserves it but my personal choice for song of the decade would have to be Tuface Idibia's African Queen. What about you? What's your Nigerian song of the decade?

The video for 'Mr President' when you continue...

  1. Way to go My Guy - China. You are amongst the very few Nigerian musicians that make a difference in the music world. More grease to your elbow man.

  3. Yes, I agree with them. The lyrics is more than a song and highlights many issues facing Nigeria as a country. Yes, African queen is nice but cannot be compared with mr president.

  7. Linda African China has a raw message.African Queen is good but i think with the way life is going we need more of such music that tells the ills of society.Singing this song was a big risk he took bcos many have lost their lives for saying the truth.I am glad he is honoured

  10. I agree with anon 12:33 and 12:47. I think this song is very befitting and it paints things exactly as they are in Nigeria. The reality is people are suffering beyond belief with no way of escape. I wish Nigeria had more musicians like this who aren't afraid to speak against corruption and all the other things bringing this country down.
