  6. she"s probably pregnant with triplets....thats the only excuse for such a HUGE tummy.its understandable she has for kids with a good figure but why wear a clingy fitted dress when u can wear an A-line dress that wont reveal the NO No tummy.please time to hit the gym with some serious sit ups!

  7. So why didint she wear this dress for the Grammies for crying out loud!!! She looks good and her hair is ammazing compared to that disaster she had on for the Grammies.

Now this is our OMO T that we are all proud of.

  8. I hope the left hand of Michael Bolton is not resting on the 'usual' place o.

  9. Honestly were you guys expecting her to be a size 2 or 4 pleeeeeaaase she is an average size of an African Beautiful Women with four kids no Plastic Surgery at all got to give her some Kudos instead of criticize her....

  10. omo t is looking good for an average nigerian mother of 4 but international standardds she no reach anywhere n shez a nigerian celeb shooting to international levels kudos on that omo t but joan rivers will tear u to pieces if u dont follow their standard o

  11. Kai, see people. We are trying to break the "standard". Why must she follow Joan Rivers standard. Have we seen Joan's face lately, that's what you get for trying to follow the standard. Omo T has never been the slimmest. She is trying the best she can. The outfit was a bad choice but she looks good. It's people like you all that scream foul about western standards; then turn right around and slay our artists for looking like regular people (she looks better than half of you Internet thugs)

  18. Its all hanging out woman. Look at other women there? dont you feel like a WHALE beside them. No offense, its not about being on the carpet, its about looking gooooood and a complete knockout....aaaaannndd being on the red carpet. Put things in proper perspective lady. Anyone can pose with good PR but looking good gets you noticed by Hollywood execs. African curves are great, but flabs are unsexy!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Her legs look funny and out-of-shape

    She needs to work out

    ReplyDelete
  20. if i could look like her i'll be ok with it

  21. There is curvy and Svelte which is real African , the type that the like of Joke Silva and Beyonce carry which is African ...and then there is Bumpy, Lumpy, All you can eat, All you can drink, Sleep after heavy swallow,Sugar Sweets and everything nice. Haba

Dont get me wrong , she is got kids and all, but she aint the only one with kids...a bit of dscipline in the food department, no too much exercise, just being a busy mum and wife, weight drops off.

You are what you eat. Your metabolism is no respecter of celebrity status. DISCIPLINE WOMAN!!!

  22. When in Rome, act like a Roman..

    ReplyDelete
  23. I hear people say she looks good by nigerian standard...Nigerian standards? Are you for real? with the cheap poly-fabric? it looks like a $5 made in china dress... No No No Not in the land of genevieve, rita, kate and 'em all she is not hot by nigerian standards. The only thing that is saving omotola right now is her pretty face that is always adorn with on point make up. Aside that she is a HOT M.E.S.S!
Yes she needs to work out. In nollywood there are different type of thickness: Jacky appiah, Adaora Ukoh, even monalisa is not exactly skinny but they are firm. Children should not be an excuse: she is a celebrity and a public figure.
Besides, if she doesn't want to lose the weight, fine but she can wear things that a flattering to her curves.

  24. Omotola's publicists are really working oh. She looks nice, but her stylists should give her clothes that hide her tummy a little bit

  26. You all are just bunch of ignorant fools....All you commentators i wonder how una go take look when you reach her age. I'm sure some of ya'll are oompa loompa looking asses.. Judge yourself before judging others. At least she looks fine than most of ya... And what do you mean she's trying hard?? Trying hard gets you places, not "trying hard" gets you nowhere... So choose your words wisely.. Nigerians slay me I swear...You should all get a life and stop trying to pass judgement on others if you look uglier, tacky, and ambiguous in shape.

    ReplyDelete
  27. let her be!!
if she wants to carry rolls of fat around and then wear whatever she likes, its her CHOICE!!!
    plssss...
we dont all have to look like ANOREXIC waifs!!
d rate at which nigerians glorify hollywood and its fashion is alarming..
i bet yáll pop diet pills just to stay thin!
na wa oo..her hubby is not complaining, why should u???

    ReplyDelete
  28. linda,
some pple say u know the exact Pictures to put up to start something and i'm starting to think there's some truth to it..
i saw some ömotola in america pictures online and there were several of them...some Of them were far nicer than this..
why put this one where her belly is kinda protruding up??
to start some "ïsh" i guess
    babe..u no try..
now your army of STANS can start the bashing...i'm outta here.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Why do u people like comparing one celebrity to another? Omotola is avery beautiful woman, with all the flaps that u people complain about, her husband adores her that way, her fans still admire her, she is ok with herself, she is going places and doing what she knows how to do best. Please free her, concentrate on yourself for a while. She is an African woman, and a very beautiful one for that matter, she is not trying to be like ur almighty GN, or the other international stars that u people want her to look like. I guess if monique was a Nigerian, u people would have crucify her. Damn!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'll give her a pass. Very nice smile. The beauty of wearing black is that it can hide and/or diminish the hugeness of flabs.

    ReplyDelete
  31. looking good michael. For a white man, he aged well.

  32. @2.33pm Nameless anonymous

Why is it paining you that she is attending one event to the other? Are you on crutches or wheelchair? And even if she told him whe was a fan how is that your business? Have you met him in the same event ever in your miserable life?

Keep sitting behind your old laptop in your stinking basement typing hateful comments. The hateful vibrations will first of all fill up your system and spread more wrinkles and hatred throughout your miserable body

Stop hating and ask God to bless you. THIS IS OMOTOLA'S DAY AND NOTHING YOU SAY OR DO CAN STOP IT

    Gbam!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Too much weight. If you know you want to fit into the international world then go and loose weight as you look like a potato right now attending those foreign events. I am sure OMOT can see how the hollywood women appear nicely slim and trim. If she wants to be in rome then let her behave like the romans end of........

    ReplyDelete
  34. While i agree that the dress is far from flattering on Omotola, many of these comments are downright sad because they are reflective of the increasing fat-phobia taking over Nigerian society.

We need our own standard of beauty, one that is not replete with a western unattainable ideal.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @anonymous 9.32

No she will not loose weight

Now go and jump off ur balcony if u have one, then come back and see her gain more weight and still walk the red carpet and you remain unknown and faceless

    hahahahahahahahahahaha

  36. The bloggers here don't have to resort to perosnal attacks when someone makes a comment about a post Linda puts up. It is not that serious. This and other blogs are a form of unwinding and relaxation. There's no need to take things personal it is totally unnecessary. Ppl have a right to comment on posts Linda uploads, that is the main premise of a blog..when we cross the line to start attacking each other bcos some ppl feel they have a monopoly on having a more scathing tongue, it is futile and defeats the purpose of blogging. Everyone has the ability to make nasty comments...but we don't have to cross the line, after all we are all "brothers and sisters." Please take my advice for whatever it is worth, and let's focus our comments on the post, and be decent to each other.

Please o i work wit kids here they always say my mother was never at home or my dad left us thats y am this way. At least kids here know hw to express there feelin but niger kids will rebel or get into trouble. Build our movie industry by u been there if hollywood wants u they will come. FAME in US is evil they pay u millions but u be poppin pills at the end of the day. fAMILY is more important at the end of the day. Leave this american thing alone and do our own thing

  39. Don't know y people wit good jobs leave niger to come US look for things that are nt there. she shuld go back to niger were people like her and worship her. Hollywood wil rather hire skinny, young or light skin fresh face than her(fresh face i mean new person)OR hire there own people and teach him hw to talk like us(eg forest)Hope this is a temp thing.
