Rapper Kel Denies Cheating at Exams

News that made the round last week had it that rapper Kel was caught cheating during her final exams at LASU where she's a final year student of Economics. The rumour had it that the rapper was instructed by the invigilator to stand as punishment while others were writing the exams. The rapper has vehemently denied the story.

"I was shocked angry and then I laughed. I was shocked because I couldn't believe it. I couldn't fathom the source. There's no iota of truth in the story and I challenge the author to come and defend it. I have never been asked to stand during exams, not even for exam misconduct. Never! In the article, it was written that the exam was my final and the course was 521 micro economics but it was a course I wrote in the first semester and not second semester. Whoever wrote that story is a very wicked person, cooking up derogatory stories just because they don't like your face." Kel to Rasheed Abubakar of Encomium mag.

  1. Isn't it scary that this publication is reminding us of the gender relations that exists in our country. Deeper life pastor rapes 3 yr old. Denerele claims girls beg him for sex, Igbo woman engaged in sex scandal, Igbo girls dance naked for husband....is something wrong in this country...if one is to talk about womens' rights now, she/he will face ridicule, but it is obvious that there is a problem in our country.

  2. Denrele is gay. He should stop hiding it since it blew open last year.

On Kel... Something must have happened but over blown by the press.

That was how a newspaper reporter mocked Sasha and compared her with a beauty queen in the same university.

Is it unfair to compare a Law student with a Regional Planning student? Law is harder...

It was unfair to say Sasha got a third class Law degree and the other got a 2:1.

  3. Evadburns,

It is very scary but I am not suprised. Nigeria is a sick country where so much goes on, it is no wonder God has turned His back at us. As a child, I remember adult men coming after me and I was not even 12 years old! I could not wait to leave Naija right after high school after spending a total of 11 years there.

Look at how sick the people are so much so they are dancing naked to get a husband. Where else in the world are things done this way? Nigeria is the only country I have had a displeasure of living in where they drive women to such a desperation to be in a relationship and then tomorrow they wonder why the men beat them up, cheat on them, give them STDs in the process, father children outta wedlock and what have you once they are in the long term relationship. Let's face it, Nigeria is an overwhelmingly negative society and until the citizens change, good can never come out of that country! Not even democratic elections will change anything because the society itself is rotten to the core and you know what they say..."God don't like ugly!"

Lord, Igbo pple have suffered. lol. So, is the term igbo now an adjective/intensifier to describe promiscuity???

No one else, both inside and outside nigeria can do such?

  5. That is what sells papers and so long as the gullible remain, they will continue to buy and those low-life papers will continue to publish and sell.

  8. Linda why are you quoting this 200 naira gossip rag? Clearly it is not worth the paper it is printed on. Your blog is International, you need to exercise more discretion in what you put on it sometimes.....

    *ends 2 kobo lecture :)
