Omowunmi on her way to the event yesterday. She's in Kinabuti, a dress made by an Italian designer based in Nigeria

Yesterday, ex-beauty queen Omowunmi Akinnifesi was named Female Fashion Icon 2011 at the Vanguard Allure Style Icon Awards. Once again, congrats babe!

you literally made me LMAO. I want quality designs, and this dress looks better than what SOME Nigerian designers are offering. So let kinabuti be.
Next question, what does Omawunmi do, she seems to be at every and any event. Just asking simple question.

  6. I'm sure she likes all the publicity. Good luck to her and i'm sure she's having a "nice time" working with the LASG. There are too many lewd men who hang around Alausa! They will not let her rest. LOL!!

And true Linda it is only in your blog I read about Omawunmi being a star, please let us breatheee and like the others said, name a career achievenment other than applying makeup and jumping from one event to another. The worst fake birkin bag. The fakeness was
So bad that I was laughing my ass off when
I spotted it at the Arise show... Once I saw
The O ring attached to the key of the clouchet
(Which is the #1 way to sport a fake birkin)

  16. @bloody hater- your comment is racist! We do have Nigerian designers- our tailors- they are the ones we go to if we want Nigerian clothes! Last time I checked, they were still very busy sewing clothes for traditional weddings and all that. These foreign designers may reap in Nigeria but the fact is that they are not reaping as much as they should because most Nigerian women don't have the figure to wear their clothes (think about this- our hips are too big, breasts too small, etc)

  19. If Kim Kardashian can be this popular for just being a pretty girl that dresses nice, and all of you guys are the same ones who idolize her. A girl who got popular through sex tape.

She's a beautiful girl, designers probably pay her to wear their dresses.
