The annual Silverbird Man of the Year is here again. The nominees are - Olusegun Aganga (Minister of Finance), Funke osibodu (GMD, Union Bank of Nigeria PLC), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Governor, Central Bank), Aliko Dangote (Chairman: Dangote Group)
Man of the year? Seriously? With a woman in there?What about they call it Person of the year and stop using Man to label everybody

ReplyDeleteHow come all the hand picked "nominees" for the so called "Man of The Year" 2010 are all from the Finance / Money / Banking Industry?
The Silverbird "Man of The Year" award is as meaningful as "The Loch Ness Award" or "The Bermuda Triangle Award."
The Nigerian Meaningless Award 2010 goes to Silverbird.
'Man of The Year' Really? 'Person of the Year' would have been more appropriate.
