Bode George adjusts to life in prison

Prisoner D574, Chief Bode George, who is serving a two year jail term for malfeasance while he was Nigeria Ports Authority Chairman, has accepted his fate as he struggles to make Kirikiri Maximum Prisons, Apapa, Lagos home, following the refusal of the Lagos High Court, to grant him bail pending his appeal.

Since he's made up his mind to adapt as much as he can to prison life, Bode George has initiated and bankrolling the reconstruction and renovations of block 2's bathrooms and toilets where he's resident in block 4. Brand new modern bathrooms and toilets with tiles and several other gadgets have been commissioned inside the prison.**
